"I've been eating at Isa all the time before I got vegan. You had some of the best pizzas in town. Needless to say, I was excited to see that they now have vegan cheese. (no vegan meat tho. I was a little concerned by some of the last reviews saying that there was new possessions and worse pizza, but we have a chance and ordered a cake with vegan cheese, mushrooms, onions and jalapeños. Unfortunately, the only thing on the pizza with every taste was the Jalapeño. Strangely tasteless pizza, like a 3D printing of a pizza. I even salted a piece of pizza for the first time in my life and it had no taste yet. The crust was crisp, but absolutely tasteless somehow. Venezias is more expensive for a vegan cake, but at least it tastes good. I always want to give restaurants props for vegan options, but that was just not good, especially for $40 for a single cake. We ate all two slices because we were starving, but the rest of us? ll probably dead, which means we just spent $10 on bad pizza."

Being from Brooklyn I know pizza. This is one of my favorite places. Just wish I lived closer. If I did, I’d be fat as a house.

A nice bunch of people. The pizza's are fresh and taste great. Having a $6 lunch special is really nice. I will be coming back for sure.

I had often pizza in new yorker style. that is not even close! grease ran from slices, not at all good, is another restaurant that serves better pizza.

fave place for a fast disc pizza. they may not always have the taste they want to go ready, but everything is good, so easy to choose something and they will be happy! View menu

The pizza is amazing and well worth the money!! We get both the regular crust and gluten-free crusts everytime we go, and we go pretty consistently. The service is friendly and we rarely have any issues.

If you like NY style pizza, this is your place. Nice selection of big slices they say they serve all day. The salad and heroes we got were fresh and tasty. I've been back several times and never been disappointed. Highly recommend.

Went 2 times and both times bad experienceFirst time I ordered wings and after 15 minutes I came back in to check on them and they said they didn't even start them yet. They offered free wings on next visit too. The second time I went back to get free wings and I wanted to order a couple of lunch specials and they had no more pizza available for lunch special when the sign says they serve it from 11 until 4. I went at 1pm smh. He said they got really busy and don't know when they will have more. Very disappointed both times.

New York? Pizza in Phoenix. I'm an expert. But now with new possessions, it's still terrible. The cake was overcooked and crisp. Perhaps the new owners use cheaper ingredients and do not have the passion or the craft. If this place will call itself? New York, when you need to clarify? Upstate New York Hick Town Style? Not NYC style. How scary? The pizza was in the past. And I hate to use the word?authentic?. Look at this trash that tries to spend so good and legit. Look at the garbage dumps. If I want medium garbage, I simply go to Barro, Venezia or NYPD (New York Pizza Division). RIP Isa's! But my family will just rest. We live in the city of Chris Bianco/Pizzeria Bianco.

"i’ve been coming to lacuna for over two years now and this little gem is definitely one of my favorite places to be. i’m not much of a review-writer, but when i feel passionately about places (good or bad , i get inspired.as someone who leads an alcohol-free lifestyle, it is SO nice having this option to unwind and create some art, relax, or hang out with friends. i’ve truly made so many wonderful connections through lacuna that i will cherish for a lifetime!it’s also a great place to get work done. i work remote, so i spend a good majority of my week here at my second office ; the BOGO happy hour deal comes in clutch.i think it’s really great that there is a mix of events now too, not just strictly DJ’s performing 6-7 nights a week. (although i do absolutely love the nights when there’s a DJ as well ! the variety of events is great; chess tournaments, community coloring, workshops, recovery groups, massages, yoga etc. there’s been a lot of engaging activities that i enjoy attending or participating in.i feel like lacuna has become a lot stronger in both the workspace and community-front in the last year or so too. the kavatenders all have such a warm and positive energy and always make me feel special when i come in. it’s nice seeing management interacting with customers and staff more too. it’s nice overhearing the positive feedback from management to staff (or staff to staff , and hearing the conversations that the staff members have with guests. there just seems to be a lot more connection overall. lacuna is growing and glowing for sure. <3the price increase is a bit of a bummer, but in a time with inflation… what can you really do? i personally TRUST lacuna with their product and that’s what keeps me coming back. i know they put both quality and care into their products and it really reflects. it can be a pretty penny if you’re getting multiple drinks, but fancy craft cocktails at a regular bar can be the same way. plus, my points add up so quickly i get pretty frequent discounts with their reward system. it’s not the end of the world!i appreciate the subtle changes in the bar layout and decor too. even the little things keep it feeling fresh and a little new each time you come in.the *only* “negative” thing i have to say about the space is that it can be difficult to order a drink or close out a tab sometimes. there’s rushes and it gets busy, but sometimes it feels as if one staff member just isn’t enough during these times. sometimes there’s not a lot of communication about this either between staff and people trying to close out, but i’ve been coming here for awhile now so i know what to expect. if you’re in a time crunch, just give yourself a little buffer or cushion of time to get closed out (or order to go right off the bat and close out immediately .all things considered, though, 5 stars all the way around! lacuna is an ever-evolving, ever-growing spot and i’m excited to see what the future looks like for you guys! : bulaaaa!!!!"
