"I have been to J. Alexander's a few times before and each time the service is exceptional and the food is usually pretty good. Yesterday evening was not as good of an experience for me and my family. Upon arrival I informed the hostess that I had an additional guest. I was met with disdain and a huff and puff. They were able to accommodate me and we were sat. A portion of our party did run a little late but we had our drink orders taken. Unfortunately, we were not tended to again for 45 minutes. We had to wave our waiter down multiple times throughout our visit. He was not very attentive and we often had to ask him to clear our table or come back to see us when he had a moment. It was quite disappointing because it seemed as if he did not want to serve us at all. Then only time we received a smile was when we paid our tab plus 18% gratuity and were leaving. I really like this place so hopefully this was a singular experience."

This specific J Alexander’s was by far the best I’ve ever been. The costumer service was outstanding Michael who happened to be my waiter was very personable and very knowledgeable. My 6 year old fell in love with the food and the restaurant’s atmosphere, which means a lot to me. I highly recommend it. They happen to be the only one serving pumpkin pie, which was my child’s request for dessert.

J.Alexander’s Restaurant is a great place for food and drinks and meeting people . The Ambience is very much like a sports Bar. The service is very professional and the hosts are always very polite. The food is very good and flavourful. The quantity is very large and can be easily enjoyed by two people.
