"Went for lunch and loved everything we had. The small muffins they put on the table were SO yummy! My friend ordered a dozen to go for her son I bought the mix to take back to Jersey with me. Fatty brisket was melt in your mouth South Carolina pork was great but didn't love the sauce Coleslaw was delicious had onions, yum! Barbequed corn was excellent Spare ribs were moist and yummy! Pulled pork was quite good Collard Greens we're good wish they had a bit more smoked pork flavoring though Banana pudding was delish! Pecan pie was good. VERY sweet though so if you don't have a sweet tooth it may be a bit much for you. Bartender was cool. He made a **** Mary for my girlfriend that she could NOT stop talking about. She must've said how great it was at least 10 times. She lives in NC so I'm quite sure she will be going back there on the days the bartender is there. I can't recall his name."

Went here yesterday with my girlfriend Melody and the food was amazing! Their BBQ was delicious! We had the 3 meat plate, collard greens and Mac cheese for our side, an order of onion rings for a starter, and for dessert their seasonal coconutcream pie which was incredible!

I read that muffins are provided, but I didn't receive any. Bummer! The food was delicious. The brisket was good, but the BBQ sauce was concerning at first. But it was a winner! Potato salad, meh. BBQ bean, yummy. Our waiter was friendly. If I'm in the area again, I'll be back. View menu

The chili here is absolutely spectacular! On a chilly day, we decided to try the chili cheese fries and hot wings. The brisket is so tender that it could practically be rubbed against the pavement while you shop at Lowe's. Plus, they even have a drive-thru for added convenience!

I visited this restaurant yesterday with my friend Melody, and the food was fantastic! The grilled dishes were delicious! We ordered the three-meat plate, along with collard greens and mac and cheese as our sides. For an appetizer, we had a tower of onion rings, and for dessert, we enjoyed their seasonal coconut cream cake, which was amazing!

We have eaten here at least 3 times in the past 2 months. The food is really great here and they give you large portions. The servers are are all very friendly. I like Jim and Nicks better than Midwood Barbecue. If your in the mood for some Barbecue you have to stop by and try it. Oh and you have to try their cornbread biscuits are so so good. View menu

I've been dining at Jim 'N Nick's for years, and this is my first time writing a review. I recently visited for lunch with some good friends and family. If you enjoy BBQ, you'll love the food here. When you sit down, you're greeted with a basket of their delicious cheesy biscuits. With the holidays approaching, I made a healthier choice and ordered the Pig in the Garden Salad with pulled pork. The lettuce and vegetables are incredibly fresh, and the pulled pork is outstanding. It's a fantastic restaurant, and I particularly enjoy coming here because my name is Jim.

On June 27, 2022, I had some friends from Korea visit, along with their wonderful one-year-old. Our waiter, Drew, was not only welcoming but also very accommodating. I ordered a loaded baked potato topped with brisket, while my husband chose the mac and cheese with brisket on top. My two daughters ordered catfish, my friend opted for the smoked turkey, and his wife went for the brisket. Overall, the food was delicious. Drew even brewed a fresh pot of coffee for me because I was really craving it. The support staff was excellent, and the service was great. Drew also manages the bar; I had a gin and tonic he mixed, and it was perfect. Thank you, Drew, for making our celebration of long-standin...

"I found the restaurants presented during our DDD search and because we were on Carolina, we had to do bbq. We arrived at 11am (opening) and were the first customers for the day. We were immediately greeted, sitting and approached. We ordered the pineapple basilica limonade, delivered 5 6 minutes before the margarita pomegranate, which was ordered at the same time. The drinks were delicious, but wished they had brought together. We've ever paid $9. We decided to share the DDD dishes: Unproper Charcuterie, who had pulled pork, brisket, ribs, Andouille sausage, salt vinegar chips, pimento cheese dip, coleslaw, and hush puppies. The pulled pig was good, but nothing exceptionally remarkable. The Brisket was probably one of the best I had. My husband cleaned the rib bones and said they were excellent and delicate. The sausage had great taste and a moment when you were in it a bit. The chips were good overall, but did not taste fresh and one or two even tasted a bit. The Pimento cheese was very good and the perfect tangent to complicate the chips. The Coleslaw was delicious and even better with a few squirts of the Carolina vinegar sauce. The hush puppies were perfectly cooked and covered with a sweet melted butter. The meal was quite expensive at $30 and enough for two hungry people with a little leftover, but not enough for a box to go. The sauces were all very good. The spicy Hoisin was not really spicy (and I am a weaker when it comes to heat), but was SO good at the Briske. The Mary Bs and Carolina Senf were good on the pulled pig and ribs. I think my men fave was the Queen Bs who had a little sweet taste. Tong's Thai sauce was really good, but would be delicious on noodles. It seemed a little space for our meal, but was probably intended for salmon or other duck. The setting and atmosphere 5 stars! Super sweet! The service 3 stars felt a bit slow considering that it should be prepared well before time and nothing we had done to order. It was a lot to do, the closer it came to noon, but we were there to check for an hour and 15 minutes from the order that seemed like a long time for a quick bite. Another server or two might have prevented it. The food 4 stars just because the house chips (always a fave to me) did not taste fresh and the pulled pig was a bit dry. Value 4 stars? I understand that food prices are rising, but sharing a $50 meal for lunch seems very high."
