"The staff at this location doesn't appear to be very welcoming to people of color, which is disappointing considering the community it serves. Now, regarding the food: I ordered two breakfast meals for pickup, and unfortunately, everything was dry and overcooked. Both the pork and chicken sausages were tough, the pancakes were not only dry but also chewy, and both the scrambled and over-easy eggs were overcooked (cooking over-easy eggs shouldn't be that difficult!). The only items that were decent were the English muffin and hash browns. For various reasons, I can't recommend dining at this location. It's definitely worth your time to go to the one on Broad River instead; they consistently provide much better quality."

Delicious! Lizard's Thicket on Saint Andrews is fantastic. My only complaint is that our waitress wasn’t very attentive; we had to ask for more napkins. However, the food was incredible. I had a fried pork chop, roasted greens, potatoes, roasted okra, and sweet iced tea. My friend Amber ordered roasted chicken with potatoes and gravy, cornbread stuffing, macaroni and cheese, sweet tea, and a side of roasted pork. The Southern food is absolutely delicious—much better than Cracker Barrel. For me, this is true home-style Southern cooking.
