I found it shocking that after we had previously dined without issue, they now had this new policy and that I had received burnt food without any acknowledgment from the staff. It's disappointing because those dogs are part of my family, and they genuinely enjoyed the food at your restaurant. Now that you have a "no pets" sign, I feel excluded as a customer who has spent money there. It's disheartening to see such a judgmental stance when our dogs were well-behaved and friendly. I spent money on food for my dogs because they loved it at your place, but now I've decided I won't be returning. It's a shame because I had hoped for a welcoming experience for both my family and our pets."

The chicken katsu was underwhelming, and the quality of the food seems to vary based on the chef. I found it to be extremely overpriced; I paid nearly $20 for just one plate, excluding a drink. Overall, I would rate the food 2 out of 5.

This spot has usually good chicken catsu but last time I went they served me cold food that seemed like it was sitting out all day. Not too long after I was so sick and my stomach was in the worst pain I've ever experienced. I don't know if I can ever eat and look at it the same unfortunately. View menu

Chicken Katsu was hard as a rock like if it was leftovers and re-cooked again terrible barbecue chicken was nothing special teriyaki sauce and Katsu sauce was cold terrible food never go back there again lost a good customer not ono Hawaii that?s fordamn sure,only good was rice that was expense rice

Been coming for years. Great tasting Hawaiian BBQ and macaroni salad. Can be very busy peak hours, so order ahead or come an hour early/later like 4pm. Prices going up, so now $18 for a BBQ plate, $10 for a basic bowl. Don't expect a culinary miracle ifyou order anything else like a hamburger or katsu there's better on Harbor for those items.

This was an excellent Hawaiian barbecue chain fast food spot. I was just visiting in the area so I stopped her for a nice lunch. I ordered the Kalua pork and banana leaf fish combo because it seemed the most authentic. They gave a HUGE portion which I unfortunately could not finish it all and had to waste since I was on the go. I did wish I tried one of the bbq beefs. Definitely would come back here. The restaurant has a clean and well-organized atmosphere, though the number of tables is limited. Prices are very reasonable, and the portion sizes are generous—one combo is plenty to feed two people. There's ample parking available in the commercial center. We ordered the BBQ mix combo, which is made fresh to order. The short ribs and BBQ chicken were delicious, although the BBQ beef was a bit on the dry side. The rice was fluffy and just right. I will definitely be returning.

Husband and I went to L&L for some kalua pig and teri chicken. Every time we see a different L&L we have to go. The L&L's we have been to in California all seem to serve tuna mac salad. That's ok, but I wish they had the kind of mac salad like they serve in Hawaii (without tuna). But, everything else is ON PAR with flavor, texture, and smell. It's filling and it's fun to eat there. So far, I haven't found California L&Ls selling souvenir shirts like the one in Oregon. Will be back!
