"Food was as expected from a Luby’s. Nothing better than any other location. I guess there was one exception, the wait staff was very good. I had the blackened tilapia, broccoli and sweet potatoes and all were good. Food was fresh and I enjoyed the taste.Wheelchair accessibility: Handicapped parking is up front as expected and close to the door."

The area where I came was just a bit like an old carpet. But what you expect after hundreds of food drops. Very tasty and portions made me feel like I was worth my money.

A huge improvement over the Westheimer/Kirkwood location! Food is kept fresh consistently and the waitstaff is always around! The restaurant itself has a very upscale look and feel to it as well. View menu

Who serves burnt food like this. Called the Meyer Park store to speak with the manager but still have not gotten any feedback. Left 2 messages and a number as the recording asked for you to do. As of 8pm today, still no call.

Horrible. I ordered Luann chopped steak, fried orka and cabbage. Steak was good. Okra was like mush. Cabbage was very crunchy. I sent the okra back to be fried hard, i received okra FULL grease!!! I squeezed them and the sight of grease was unbelievable.......

"We had a nice experience at Luby's. The tables were clean, and we appreciated the complimentary napkins. The drink selection was good, and we found the service at the cash register to be efficient. Overall, it was a pleasant visit, and we enjoyed the tasty recipes offered." View menu

A true staple <3 Always delicious to come eat here! Love that it's still here after decades, I have many good memories here. Great place to bring the whole family! Really nice place to relax and chat over a meal. The servers are always extra thoughtful and they love their regulars.

I spent two hours in line for takeout, and I ordered the turkey feast for two. However, when I got home, I realized that they forgot to include the two pecan pies. The meal was delicious, but I can't stop thinking about that pecan pie. Unfortunately, it’s too far for me to drive back to get it.

"Food good. Location good. Service good. BUT, the hidden charges REALLY ruined an otherwise nice experience. Example: HH menu lists Martinis as a $3 upcharge to the $7 base charge. Fair enough. Bombay is a listed alcohol; requested. When the bill was returned I was charged for a Bombay Sapphire which is not on the HH list. Charge? $11 $3. I asked for Bombay, not Bombay Sapphire. Waiter: Oh, let me look into that. AND, by the way Blue Cheese olives? Extra $1. REALLY? I 've NEVER paid extra for BC olives ANYWHERE. AND the confusing menus that a dish as including an extra sauce, [and I don 't recall the exact language but it made it seem that an additional items could be selected as well. Oops, there goes an extra $10.95. AND, the waiter recommending a twice-baked potato. Bah, boom, another $5.95. [which in fairness is disclosed on the menu in a different location, but waiter made it sound as if it was a no-charge option on the surf and turf. AND the split plate charge which I don 't think was disclosed on the menu. Ding, ding, extra $3.00. Was this a waiter, who was overly up-selling or restaurant deception? Don 't know. As I said, the food WAS good. AND, the ambience [at least in the bar area, stay away of the hotel-ballroom-like main dining area was nice. Just beware the nickel and dime charges that the waiter won 't be disclosing to you."
