"The food here is outstanding, provided you get the correct order. The sandwiches are delicious, featuring amazing ingredients. However, the person working at the front often mixes up orders and sometimes forgets to include items. Today, I ordered a roast beef sandwich but received an avocado sandwich instead, even though we saw the employee slicing the beef! He took his time preparing our order and completely forgot to make my wife's coffee. This isn't the first time this has happened, which is why I don’t visit as often anymore. On the bright side, their baked goods are among the best in all of NYC. Just make sure to double-check your order!"

Really like that this is a neighborhood bakery. The pie looked amazing! Great line of customers. Fun energy. Was so excited for my brownie but it was at least two days old. Would have liked to have known that before I bought it!

Margaret and her team created a fantastic cake for my son's 4th birthday. The cake design was absolutely perfect, and it tasted delicious—definitely the best price around! I will certainly be using their services again. Thank you!

Small local joint with one lady Cecilia running the front. She gets it done! Got a whitefish salad bagel and a egg/bacon/tomato bagel. She whooped those eggs up made to order. No fake stuff here. Also got the glazed donut and a cappuccino. Prices good. CASH ONLY AND wear a mask there. View menu

This charming bakery is definitely worth the stroll over to Columbia Street. It's brimming with the delightful and inventive creations of Margaret, who is usually behind the counter and always a pleasure to chat with. The deli-style food is fantastic as well, and surprisingly affordable. Any lunch becomes infinitely more enjoyable with one of Margaret's homemade rolls.

I absolutely loved the muffin I had here—this has definitely become one of my go-to spots! It was freshly baked and incredibly delicious! The flavor options included blueberry, cranberry, and I chose the apple cinnamon. So tasty! They also have a variety of other baked goods like scones and cakes, along with a full breakfast menu, but I’ll definitely be returning just for the muffins!

"When we called to reserve a table, no one informed us that there was a dining time limit of 1.5 hours. My friend wanted to invite more people to join us for dinner, but I was unsure if everyone would agree to the minimum charge of $60, including taxes and tips. I confirmed a reservation for 7 people during my second call, but ultimately, only 6 of us showed up. The table we were given was quite small, making it uncomfortable for six people, especially with the mandatory minimum spending of $60, as well as a 20% tip. For just two people, the minimum tip is 18%. I was confused about the dining time limit—was it two hours or 1.5? The party area was limited to just the backyard for additional seating. I was with friends who didn’t know the group well, and we arrived early at 3 PM, but we couldn’t wait until 6:30 PM. That’s why we ended up sitting at a separate table for two. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn’t seem to care and couldn’t arrange for us to be seated closer together. We had no choice in the matter. To make matters worse, the female waiter had a poor attitude. It felt like we were dining in a sidewalk market. She questioned another girl who served me ponzu sauce, apparently because I looked impatient when I saw her face. Her attitude only worsened after that. It seems like they need to train their employees better, as they seem unaware of how to provide good service. As for the food, it was just okay, typical of basic Japanese cuisine. There were too many restrictions! Customers are forced to adhere to the restaurant’s rules and limitations. I cannot recommend this place unless someone is specifically looking for a fast-food experience. In short, I don’t think I’ll be returning next time."
