"The lack of cleanliness was shocking; both our dishes had caked-on, crusty food rather than just water spots. The waitress showed no surprise or apology for the unsanitary plates. Additionally, she was inattentive and did not offer us refills on our drinks. In fact, we struggled to get her attention until we were nearly finished eating. After our meal, we waited ten minutes for our bill, largely because she was engrossed in a personal conversation about plants and looking at pictures on her phone. As for the food quality, we ordered a medium pizza with one topping, an order of breadsticks, two soft drinks, and a dipping sauce for $34, not including tip. The pizza was burnt and had a crust that was tough and flavorless, reminiscent of cardboard. I had to saw through it with a knife and fork. The garlic cream cheese for the breadsticks was just plain cream cheese with no spices or garlic. The pepperoni was incredibly thin and excessively greasy. The prices do not reflect the quality of the food or the care taken in preparation. The waitress demonstrated a complete lack of customer service skills. We paid our bill in cash and left a reasonable tip, despite considering a smaller one due to the poor service. Regrettably, we will not be returning to Mario's, and we cannot recommend it to anyone."

Marios is a great place for pizza and pasta. Many TV's to catch sports. Family atmosphere or even just a date. The food is great, and the waitstaff is exceptional. Highly recommend. Only picked up a appetizer for my daughter but, she seemed very pleased with what she ordered. When I went in to pick up, the restaurant looked very clean and the waitress was truly very kind. First time visiting, will be back! Tim the owner was very friendly and personable, we had appetizers and drinks during the Michigan/Indiana game then took a supreme pizza and antipasto home. We seen an advertisement on Facebook and decided to order. We ordered a supreme pizza and it looked very good but when eating, the crust was really hard. So hard it was difficult to bite into it. Our server was very attentive. Atmosphere was a family oriented, with a small separate bar area. There is a room in the back for small to medium parties. The food was okay. Lasagna was mostly pasta and runny. I prefer a good, hearty lasagna that holds together. The salad was pretty good with plenty of meat, cheese, olives, etc in it. The pizza was okay also. We ordered pizza for takeout, and I have to say, Mario’s serves an authentic pie. The crust has a slight crunch, which isn’t really my preference, but the sauce is fantastic, and the toppings are fresh and abundant. I worked in the pizza industry as a kid, from a chain to managing a gourmet pizza place, so I know my pizza. Mario’s is definitely top-notch. Unfortunately, the price reflects that—ouch!
