"The wait to be seated was way too long. So we sat ourselves after standing around for 15 minutes. The servers were all busy so we waited patiently for the hostess and she was very snappy and rude when we explained that we'd waited and finally sat ourselves. She then seated 3 tables before she gave us our menus and was quite hasty and rude yet again in doing so. Once our waitress came she was extremely helpful and kind. The food came quickly. Tasted wonderful. And checkout was a quick and painless. So great food fast friendly service with the exception of 1 rude hostess."

we had the back room for a private event. our waitress was fantastic, friendly and stayed at the top of everything, from food to drinks. they have a large handheld electronic system for the waitress, which allows them to handle almost 50 people by themselves. she kept the drinks without waiting. good food, cold drinks, fun and clean atmosphere! we will definitely come back. with a group of 20 people to the 65th birthday of my mother. no eye was rolled or atem was sighed! every single employee we met was so nice, smiling and accommodating. we had a great time. the food was delicious and every dish was made right! our main server was lonely and she was a joy. it has treated this amount error-free. Every time we go to Mattingly's it's a great experience. First and foremost, completely smoke-free environment! If there's anything I can't stand about going out to dinner it's choking on someone else's smoke while I'm trying to eat. That said, the food, atmosphere, and wait staff are spectacular. If there's one caveat to Mattingly's I will say not all locations are created equal. Although the food at the highway 94 location is good, for some reason the Cave Springs St Charles location it's just a little bit better.
