"The fried chicken here is excellent. No issue with the food or drink. The low rating is due to the lack of safety displayed by our server during our visit in light of the current pandemic. I recognize there is a risk anytime you dine out at this time, but there were some very unsettling things we experienced while dining there on Father's Day. The server's mask only covered his mouth and never his nose. At one point during our meal, we watched him have a very loud coughing attack where he actually took his mask off. Given this happened out in the open ... with the manager standing close by ... I'm not sure why he was allowed to continue serving. And prior to the coughing attack, he had been wearing gloves but after it, he stopped wearing them. After this, we could not get out of there fast enough. Very disappointing to see their lack of concern for customer safety."

Shrimp and grits was excellent. The broth definitely brought out the flavors. The fried chicken looked great but didn’t have time to wait 25 minutes. Maybe next time.

We was the first customers in the restaurant, a group of 6 and it took us over a hour to get our food. Other guests came in after us and got there food before us. Don't want to use race but we are black and the other party was white. This is unacceptable.

Service was beyond horrible. Waitress came to our table TWICE once to take our order and bring waters and once to bring our check. She didn’t refill waters once and wasn’t even the one to bring out our food, nevertheless bother to check on us after we got it.
