"The wife and I have been going here for years. The food is always really good. It had been a little bit since we had gone prior to our last visit. We found a slightly changed menu, but that was okay. They did remove my wife's favorite salad, but added other things. I got a brie salad that was great. We have always been pleased with the Sunday lunch buffet as well. The chef who prepares the fresh custom omlets is always friendly in my experience. I will say that the soups are usually really good as well, but the the ones with a chicken base are often too salty for my tastes. Service is always friendly and prompt. This definitely a place to try out."

I had an absolutely disappointing experience at this restaurant. My two guests and I were the only customers present, but when a table of four arrived, the service completely vanished. I will definitely avoid coming back on a Saturday when this young lady is working.

The breakfast buffet is decent for a quick meal. I have breakfast with my daughter every weekend. The eggs were reminiscent of a vast desert, in a positive sense! I give it 3 stars for the pricing. An omelet, waffle, coffee, and juice totaling $30? Since when do family-run breakfast spots charge this much for a meal?

My brother and nephew were visiting from Florida, so we decided to go to Michael's, which turned out to be a big mistake. We opted for the buffet, and that was another regrettable choice. We visited the party center, so I can't comment on the main dining area, but if it's anything like what we experienced, it must be fantastic! We hosted a celebration for my mother here, and the food was excellent, while the service was impeccable! The venue was clean, and there was ample parking available. I would love to return, and we traveled from Ashtabula, OH.

I ordered takeout tonight and tried the Beer Battered Cod, Shrimp Scampi on spaghetti, and a Reuben sandwich with fries. The main dishes were fantastic, but the chicken noodle soup was quite cold, and the French fries were only warm. Fortunately, these issues can easily be fixed in the microwave. The portions were generous; it might be a good idea to offer full and half sizes, especially during this "stay at home" period. I highly recommend giving Michael’s Place a chance and skipping the fast food spots. You might spend a bit more, but it's definitely worth it!
