"If you're going to charge 5 star prices, serve 5 star dishes. I got a 15 dollar burger that had no seasoning and was as DRY as the Sahara. I was so unimpressed with my food, and my partner had the lamb shank, and he said it tasted a bit off. They served us cold bread with butter from packages… not very upscale but then charge 15/20 dollars for a glass of wine? No thanks. Probably will give it one more go and try something different, but my hopes are not very high. I want to see them do better … – show"

I had dinner here recently and had the lamb with basil whipped potatoes. Absolutely delicious. Great service and wonderful wait staff. Will be back.

Best waitstaff ever in an old school Italian decor with unique melted candles at every table. Food is 2nd to none, too fairly priced for the North shore

Come here just for dessert! The Creme Brûlée is incredible. Not overly egg-y. The toffee is crunchy and the dark chocolate is delicious! The flourless cake drizzled with pistachio is soooo yummy. The huge candles are so cool!!!! They’re everywhere and have been burning for 4—5 years. How cool is that? View menu

From classics like Steak Frites Oysters or lesser known gems like the Crespelle, Miramar always does a fantastic job! My family has been dining here for almost 20 years, whether it's a last minute weeknight dinner or a fancy night out we always have a great time! The service is always impeccable and I hope that we get to eat here for the next 20 years.

I would have rated this restaurant 5 stars for ambiance, service and delicious food and wine. The only issue I have is I ordered a bottle of Pinot Grigio thinking I was getting the house wine. Instead when the bill came out the wine was quite a bit more expensive. The wine was excellent but I would have liked the waiter to ask which bottle I would like instead of choosing a pricier bottle for me.

Wonderful bistro. Terrific food and service. Lunch there recently was a phenomenal experience. I started with Crispy Goat Cheese Salad, and for my main, Dover Sole Almondine. Both were A+. I haven’t had dover sole this good in years. For dessert I splurged on Profiteroles — again a home run. Authentic preparation, fresh food, and friendly attentive service. As a relative newcomer to the area, I am glad I found Miramar! View menu

This is the most amazing place!!! The service is top notch and the food never disappoints. I visit Miramar at least twice a month and have never had a bad experience. The onion soup is delicious!!! It is one of my faves! I also love that I can create my own seafood appetizer piece by piece! If you haven’t been here you must try a Carlsburg on tap!! It’s not an frequent find. You really can’t go wrong with anything here.

Had delicious mussels! My wife had sea scallops which were good, but pricy $32) for four scallops. Now I know sea scallops are expensive. I had blue cheese steak, cooked medium rare. The steak was cooked perfectly, but it was dry and rather tough. Not sure what cut of meat, NY strip maybe, but it wasn't quite as long as a strip. Rib eye? Not as wide as a ribeye. Either way, the steak was a huge disappointment. Staff was super attentive and friendly. Creme Brulee was very good too.
