A must try! Erick makes AMAZING cocktails and the food is fresh and flavorful. Definitely get the pizza. Also, the ambiance and decor is very nice. Conveniently located within walking distance of the New Rochelle train station.

I had an outstanding dining experience, giving it a perfect score of 10/10. Everyone loved their meals—there wasn't a single dish that came up short. The baked clams are a must-try; even my mom, who typically dislikes clams, was impressed by them.

The food was decent, but not worth the price. The lasagna was merely warm, not hot, and while the pizza was good, it didn’t stand out as great. Unfortunately, our server took our order and then didn’t check on us again. Our drinks were left empty and went unrefilled. However, they were quick to bring the check! Would we return? Definitely not. For those who rave about this place, maybe we just had an off experience, or perhaps they haven’t dined at other restaurants that truly deliver on quality for the price. View menu

I ordered the lobster ravioli from the menu, and it was absolutely amazing! The service was professional and exceptional. If you enjoy wine, the selection of glasses might not be impressive, but the bottle list is quite extensive. Parking is convenient as they offer valet service. I highly recommend this place if you appreciate a comfortable and upscale atmosphere.

My goddaughter recently celebrated her 17th birthday at Modern Restaurant, and the staff truly exceeded our expectations while accommodating our group of 11. They were exceptionally friendly and attentive! The restaurant boasts a spacious layout with a charming mix of contemporary and classic decor. I highly recommend beginning your meal with Grandma's Meatballs and the fried calamari — both were absolutely delightful! This is a delicious and sophisticated spot in downtown New Rochelle, with some valet parking if you need it (we lucked out with a free Sunday spot a block away). The service was attentive and friendly, and the place was bustling with a brunch crowd. We had a hearty late lunch before a big event, and thoroughly enjoyed fried zucchini sticks, baked ziti, and a fantastic dish of fresh cooked scallops over savory mushroom medley risotto. The nice cappuccino and strong cup of black coffee after was just the ticket. Our waitress was kind, and sitting in the former car dealership space was a treat huge ceilings, vintage details, and a movie set feel.
