"We made the mistake of going to Mosaic as a group of 6 on a Tuesday night, which is date night, so the restaurant was very busy. We had reservations, however, and still waited over an hour for our food. The zucchini flatbread, edamame hummus, and crispy salmon were good, but our other entrees were disappointing. The bacon-wrapped pork was dry and the bacon paltry. The Fit Cobb was fine but quite decadent for 450 calories, which made us wonder about the counting. I am not sure why the grilled cheese on the children's menu needs to be cheddar on wheat, but it was as advertised. While nothing egregious stood out, there weren't enough good things to encourage our return. Our original table...read more"

Great Brunch. The shrimp and grits on the brunch menu was very good, would go back for that dish again and again.

One of my favorites!. I have loved this restaurant since it was Du Soleil in Carytown about 20 years ago! the service is always good, the food is always good and the prices are reasonable. I have introduced many friends and family to the place, and they all love it as well. Great burgers, great salads, great pasta, great wine! View menu

wonderful! for the first time it went to the mosaic to celebrate the 30th birthday of my wife. the food was great, and they have a nice sort of local beer. if they are a fan of sweetness, they simply try a big cookie dessert for, I promise they don't regret it. waitstaff was very pleasant and made us feel like a million dollars. if you're not gone, go now!

they cannot call this place Mediterranean, as the name implies, it is a mosaic of being from everywhere. the menu is short, but eating is very diverse and everything is made home. cranberry coleslaw is absolutely fantastic and I really enjoyed the falafel. (it is not deep fried and better for him) the icy makes fun it is a spicy chai tea. a little expensive, but an excellent night out. sitting is limited, so in any case for a reservation.

New Years Eve 2012. My husband and I were joined by our dear friends for our third annual New Years Eve dinner tonight at Mosaic. It was fabulous! We were dismayed that there were not more people at the restaurant. Most people think of Mosaic for lunch. Please consider this restaurant for dinner. It was truly a wonderful experience, we had the filet and the pan seared salmon. Both were excellent. the filet was so render you did not need a steak knife. I had the best crab chowder that I have had anywhere. our desserts were the same quality.for a fixed price of $49 it was a real bargain. 5 stars! View menu

if they are looking for an unforgettable experience and food look otherwise where- the mgt does not care. that should be a great restaurant and I was looking forward to celebrating Mother's Day there - my man, who is quite simple, said he would never go back! neither do I. So if they are looking for an unforgettable experience and eating where went for Mother's Day brunch reservations before some weeks when we arrived, we were told that we can't sit outside - there was a beautiful day- there were open tables but they didn't have enough chairs to add one to a table! the table they had for us sat beside a large family with several 2 and 3 years, which...read more

Lovely dinner outdoors, a little confusing. My husband and I had a lovely dinner seated outdoors before going to the Modlin Center at the University of Richmond for a performance. At first I was a little concerned about whether we'd make our show on time. As she was seating us, the hostess apologized that she had no dinner menus to give us, only drink menus. And then it took around 5 minutes for our waiter to appear. It looked like each member of the wait staff had 1 or 2 outdoor tables so there was possibly some confusion about which waiter/waitress had which table We finally got menus and placed our order. As long as our food came out in a timely manner, we would easily be able to...read m...

"I don’t like leaving negative reviews, but I have to say I was very disappointed in my dining experience at Adarra. It’s difficult to get a reservation there, so once I was able to, I had extremely high expectations. The drinks were excellent, so no complaints there. The food, however, was not. We ordered the toasted almonds, peppers, cheese plate, tuna belly, anchovy dish, tomato salad, and gnocchi. The almonds and peppers were good, although I have to say they were on the simpler side. The tuna belly made me think I was eating quality tuna from a can soaked in olive oil. That’s the best way I can describe it. It was a bit tough and on the dry side, and I didn’t finish it. I don’t usually eat anchovies since I’m not a fan of the typical fishy taste, but was assured that their version wasn’t fishy at all the way they prepare it. I ate a piece or two but couldn’t finish it. Soaking the anchovies in olive oil did not hide the fishy taste. Some people may like that fishy taste, but I definitely didn’t. The cheese plate was okay. The crackers weren’t anything special, and the amount of cheese was pretty minuscule. The tomato salad was actually the only thing I ordered that was delicious, and the only thing we actually finished. After being at the restaurant for almost two hours, the gnocchi had still not come out. We told our waitress we didn’t want it and decided to leave. I heard so many great things about Adarra and had such high hopes. But after such a disappointing meal that we paid over $200 for, we will not be returning."
