"We went in last night with our family of 7; we were hungry and after our long travel day wanted something yummy. The food here is PHENOMENAL! The shrimp-tastic meal was delicious and if you want a starter you have to try the BangBang Shrimp!! Now on top of the food being outstanding the atmosphere and our waitress MADE this dinner for us. As a big family we’re usually looked at crazy when going into a restaurant because it can get a little chaotic; at Nate’s they welcomed us in with the sweetest demeanor and were patient and some of the most friendly staff we’ve ever encountered! If you’re craving some delicious seafood, want to deal with polite and friendly staff, I promise this is the place!! Kid-friendliness: They were super kind to my littles and very patient with my picky teenagers!"

It's a charming spot with great drinks, but the food could use some improvement. The staff was very friendly and attentive.

The restaurant has a serious rat problem, and the food is always old—nothing fresh is served. The place has a terrible smell, and there are rat droppings all over the floors and tables.

Walk through the door and it smelled bad, the building looks run down, there was a big swamp cooler fan right next the table we were set at then the menu came and everything was extremely overpriced. It would have cost a minimum of $90 to eat a meal with 2 adults and 2 children, the atmosphere was not right for that View menu

We both ordered the stuffed shrimp, along with dirty rice and roasted vegetables. The shrimp was decent, but the dirty rice was quite salty and the vegetables were served cold. On the bright side, the service was excellent, and the boudin balls were fantastic. However, I wouldn’t recommend this place for the price you'd pay unless you’re just going for drinks; the martini was outstanding.

Never got to try our food. Took half an hour to get someone to take our order. Have been sitting here for a little over an hour and still haven’t been served. Thumbs down. Also. No A/C. Uncomfortable and very irritable. Stay away if you value your time. EDIT: Food finally came. All food came out cold. My daughter’a burger was raw. Completely unacceptable. Been here for almost 2 hours now. Stay away. This place is a complete disaster.
