"I wish I could give a lower score than one star. My friends and I met on Sunday, March 3rd. 2024 at 4 pm to have a going away dinner for one of us. It was seriously one of the worst experiences in a restaurant that we ever had. The AC was off, and it was almost 80 degrees outside. The air conditioning came on at 5 pm. when we were about to leave. The food was terrible, the cashier tried to overcharge all of us, the men dishing up the food would not listen to what we asked for and kept putting things on the plates that we had not said and last but certainly not least, the waitress never came to our table in the hour we were there. She came when we set down but did not take the trays and never even looked at us the entire visit. We tried to flag her down , but she would not tend to our needs. We all said that we would never step foot in your restaurant again and will spread the word that you all are a disaster and money grabbing jerks."

The building is quite dated and in need of some renovations. The food isn’t what it used to be, and I even spotted a fly buzzing around. On the bright side, the service remains excellent. I’ve been a patron for over twenty years and have always enjoyed my experiences there—until today.

Every Thursday, I take a group of assisted living residents out for lunch, and Piccadilly has always been a favorite spot—until yesterday. Upon arriving and unloading residents using walkers, we discovered that there has been no air conditioning for over two months. This made it difficult for us to enjoy our meals. We were also bothered by flies landing on the food in the serving line, wilted lettuce, and we found that the inside of the fried chicken was undercooked. While the fried catfish and crawfish etouffee were tasty, we ultimately had to leave early because it was too uncomfortable to enjoy our meal and have a conversation. It’s disheartening to see a local institution that I’ve loved...
