"Chic Sushi Lounge with Delicious Small Plates. Sushi Ko Chevy Chase is a chic, and yes, pricey sushi restaurant with a modern lounge-like feel. Let me say that I'm not a sushi eater, but I do appreciate other Japanese dishes. Some of my favorites here were:the aged tofu with chili daikon and ginger broth, gyoza, chicken yakitori, coconut ice cream, and sake sorbet. Everything was delicious, and we enjoyed Sushi Ko's sake, small plates (my friends enjoyed their sushi rolls and sashimi too) and the laidback, stylish atmosphere. Service could have been a llttle more attentive and friendlier, but at the same time, I appreciate it when servers give you some privacy and don't constantly check on you. I definitely will return to Sushi Ko,"

While I would say the pizza was good, the long wait and service left a lot to be desired. To make matters worse, my wife's order was incorrect. I would rate this experience two stars since the pizzas had good flavor. UPDATE: They did refund our transaction, and I’m willing to give them another chance since, as I mentioned, the pizzas were tasty. I hope for a better experience next time. View menu

Despite all the wonderful reviews this place wasn?t at all up to my expectations. My side caesar salad was good but the steak and cheese was truly a disappointment. All lettuce, tomato and onions very little meat and SO MUCH bread ! The staff wasfriendly and helpful. We were slightly chastised for ordering to go and sitting in their dining area which was slightly offputting and borderline rude as we made three different orders. I can?t confidently say I?d return but duly noted

An amazing dining experience.. My party shared 3 bowls of Edamame while there and that was also great. I had a Lychee beverage and it was great; only wish it was a bit stronger, but then again I may be an alcoholic. We shared the salmon avocado roll, tuna watermelon ceviche, blue crab avocado roll, eel avocado roll and they were perfect. So many different flavors and it was very light. Saving the best for last, everyone enjoyed the Ultimate roll and the Sweet and spicy tuna roll so much that we had to order two rounds. We were seated quickly and our waitress Alicia was very courteous. All in all, it was a great experience and I will definitely be going back.
