"This was a disappointment We really were looking forward to coming. The meatballs were okay, but the calamari appetizer was not good My husbands chicken Parmesan tasted like soggy bread on chicken, the lasagna was worse than the frozen version, and the gnocchi was over cooked and mushy The waiter offered us free dessert because he messed up our order. If it hadn’t been free even the dessert would have been disappointing."

Lemon chicken was wonderful, ravioli purses great. However underwhelmed with service and atmosphere.

Iconic restaurant with great food but felt rushed, in a hurry to turn tables around. Expensive, mediocre cocktails View menu

Lipstick on the water glass wasn't a great start . Meatballs and salad were amazing. The shrimp scampi was ok but over priced. Server and staff were great

Poor hostess upfront. Lost our reservation slip. Went up and asked. Another hostess found on floor. There response from the hostess was oh well things happen, enjoy your meal.

Our server was great, also explained a couple different entrees. When I checked out of the hotel this morning, they told me they were closing at the end of the month. Very sad to hear, we have always enjoyed eating there. View menu

Nice looking restaurant but was extremely noisy. Lasagna served cold with more rich sauce than pasta. Frutti de mare pasta was tasty but not served hot either. Hard to justify the expense at what should be a better restaurant.

Consistently DELISH! From the house salad and special sweet potato soup to the panne alla vodka and pasta bolognese, every bite was beyond satisfying and flavorful. We missed having the meatballs(one of my ABSOLUTE favorites)this trip, but there’s always next time!

"Entry: We entered Oscar's via the front entrance of The Plaza at the West end of Fremont Street. Off to the left near the entrance is the escalator that leads you to their second floor. When we entered we were immediately greeted and seated by a friendly hostess. We requested a table with a view and she definitely obliged. Atmosphere:The ambience at Oscar's is about as good as you can get in downtown Las Vegas. Centered in a large and beautifully tinted glass dome you get panoramic views of downtown LV and even the sky. Service:The service was a spectacular star experience with our waiter. Our water and drinks were never empty. He was attentive, professional and friendly. Food Drink:The food was very good but not quite up to star. The Chilean Sea Bass was the full fish with skin which is quite different than how most steakhouses prepare just a single filet. It was supposed to be deboned however we found bones while eating. The skin on the filet should be crispy throughout but was only so around the edges. Definitely overpriced for the quality of this meal. The salmon was decent but not amazing. Overcooked just a smidge and not seasoned very well. So pretty much tasted like any other salmon you might expect from a or star restaurant. The filet mignon was decent but probably not even in my top The cut was more fatty than what you would expect from a high end steakhouse and not marbleized. I ordered it medium, and as many steakhouse chefs struggle with cooking a filet properly it was cooked to order on the edges and pretty much completely rare on the inside. The grilled asparagus was likely the high point of the dinner. Was cooked to perfection and tender in the middle, crispy on the edges. The creamed spinach wasn't great. The spinach was undercooked and affected the smooth consistency that you should expect from a good cream spinach.Overall:Definitely worth trying for the experience but don't set your bar too high"
