"Horrible experience, won't be going back. The one saving grace was that the food was decent. Despite having a reservation for 3 (and the fact that the place was 1/2 empty) they tried to stick us at a table for two. We had to request to move. Then the service was ridiculously slow. Even though we were sitting right across from the bar in full view of the bartender and our waitress (who was at the bar frequently) it was 20 minutes before our drink orders were taken. We tried to get their attention to order, but it was as if they were ignoring us. Another 25 minutes passed before we finally got our food. Meaning we couldn't start our meal (lunch, during the work week) until we'd been there 45 minutes."

pub type atmosphere very lively bar scene between 5 7pm makes the noise level high. Ask to be seated in the back area if you want to talk without the overall noise. Food was good simple items burgers pasta not expensive

very good service that they will increase our party unexpectedly by three people without a hitch. eating was good I liked the available options. very close to the carnegie hall, so it was ideal for dinner before our show.

Service was terrible. Host and mgmt were rude upon arrival and didn’t have our reservation. Made us wait until they found our Rez. Waited a really long time for our food. Waitress was new and very sweet but had no idea about anything. Everyone else incredibly rude would not go back View menu

This was my second time at Red 58 and I was equally happy. It's a small place on an out-of-the-way street, but the food is well worth the trip. There was a rather raucous bachelor party in the bar at the front when we were there, but after they left, it was lovely and quiet. The food is delicious and not overly expensive. Recommended!

My wife I were on our way to see “Latin History for Morons.” The restaurant had a nice comfortable atmosphere. My crab cakes were ok. I didn’t understand why it wasn’t accompanied with a side dish. I had to purchase the mashed potatoes. My wife enjoyed her short ribs dishes with mashed potatoes sautéed spinach. Overall, prices were fair. Good service!

"We went to Bread N Wine on a early Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were greeted and seated by the servers who were attentive. The food was okay the bread was really soft and fresh. My partner got the French Lentil Soup, Spinach and Tomato Egg Bake andI got the French onion soup, egg omelette with spicy tomato avocado and onions. I wasn 't happy with my omelette because thespicy just meant it was covered in hot sauce within. For beverages, we got chai lattes (we later found out it wasn 't tea basedbut rather coffee) and we had the option of oat milk, almond milk or regular milk. In terms of our overall experience we feltby the end too many things were steering the experience south; the worst was when we were accused of using counterfeit money topay for the tip. There was no special marker used to prove that the money was counterfeit or technology to back up this claim. That experience alone left a bad taste in our mouth as we left embarrassed by that claim, kind of shook from that, we stilladded the tip to our credit card 18%. As we walked out and talked about how weird that was, the owner of the business nextdoor overheard us and asked to see the $20 bill he showed us that our money was real and validated what we knew, that themoney wasn 't counterfeit. When we went back into Bread N Wine to discuss this there was no apology, just well, it felt thatway , shrug. It left a terrible feeling. We would not go back after that, this is not how you treat customers from start tofinish, hence the 2 star review."
