"DW/CG visited Grillsmith for the first time. We had a dinner reservation and were seated right away upon arrival. It was a busy Friday evening but we had no trouble. The server was friendly and attentive even though he was new. We ordered a salmon entree and a BBQ ribs entree. We had a bruschetta appetizer to start with. The brushetta was brought out right away. It had four small pieces. It was super delicious and fresh. We were just sad that the portion was so small. Twice as much would have been appropriate (listen up folks! . DW had the salmon entree. This had to be the VERY best grilled salmon I've ever had and I've had plenty. There was a carmelized, crispy glaze on the outside and the inside was tender and fully cooked. CG said the BBQ ribs were amazing, they fell right off the bone. We paid just about the same price maybe a bit more for this meal as we paid for another seafood dinner at a nearby restaurant the week before. This Grillsmith dinner was by far superior quality and taste. We figured this actually made it a good value for our money. Eagerly looking forward to our next visit."

"Fantastic Fred 's!. This place is great. I love the concept of buffets but am often left feeling disgusted and scammed. This place is a happy exception. Every visit I have come with the family and everyone has left satisfied and eager to plan the next visit. I was a little leery the last time I visited as to how I would fare since my dietary habits had recently shifted from occasional poultry and fish, to straight pescatarianism. However, I was pleasantly surprised that they had added a few more fired and grilled fish dishes to the line up, as well as removed some of the pork from their veggie dishes (a southern thing). I suppose what I 'm getting at is that you can bring the whole family and everyone should be able to get their fill. The only thing that would make this place better is a lower price, but really we all should probably treat buffets as a 'once in a while ' affair anyhow."

"We visited Lakeland for the Sun Fun Airshow 2023 and had an incredible experience at this restaurant! Our server, Chyy, was outstanding—she even delayed the kitchen for five minutes so we could place our order. The customer service was so excellent that we decided to return the following night. This time, Jesse was our server, and he was just as fantastic! The Impossible Burger and club wrap were absolutely delicious. Plus, there was live music on both Friday and Saturday. I highly recommend this place and wish I could give it more stars!"

"My husband and I are foodies and love going out to eat 2 or 3 times a week. Love a good mergherita too!! We were visiting Lakeland and my sister took us to FCG. It was small inside and loud but we were able to get a table outside! We worried about sitting out because most places outdoor seating is not well managed. But Jessica our server was right on us ordering food and drinks! She was quick, informative and accurate with everything we ordered. Truly one of the best servers we have ever had!!! Now the food...well that was to notch. We ordered everything from blackened drum to fried oysters to fish and chips. The drum....oh my lord. Cooked to perfection, seasoned perfect, tasty and just right with the sides that were served. And those margheritas I will be back every time I visit my sister in Lakeland!"

"We drove further to get here based on their google reviews and we are so glad we did. We love Thai food. Exceptional in all categories. I had basil fried rice with beef and additional vegetables. Wow. Tasted fantastic. Rich in texture. The right temperature... Kept its heat. Right spicy level (hot) for me. Very content with the quantity of food. It was well worth the extra miles even though there was another Thai restaurant with slightly less of a rating much closer where we started. Plus this restaurant is in a good area with lots of shops and so we walked around to work off a few calories. Thank you to the team at this Thai Oishi! Of course, we will be back again."
