"Within hours of getting to Tucson, the impeccably crafted food and warm-hearted people at Urban Fresh had us travelers feeling like we were at home! We’re on a long bicycle tour with our dogs, and the owners staff noticed our bike setup and came out to chat and give fresh water homemade sweet potato treats to the dogs. The Reuben was easily the most satisfyingly umami plant-based sandwich I’ve ever had; the house-made seitan “pastrami” packs a flavor punch. The pad Thai wrap is equally delicious, with intense nutty-gingery sauce and the kind of crisp veggies I most crave when I’m on the road. Oh and the vegan cupcakes? They’re dense, moist morsels of dessert heaven. We especially loved the frosting on the berry zinger, which tasted just like a strawberry smoothie! Huge thanks to Urban Fresh for the generosity and amazing food!! It’s clear that this eatery serves a community and does it with heart. We strongly recommend it, to vegans or flexitarians or anyone, even an avowed carnivore should be happily surprised by the hefty, healthy sustenance here!"

"We ate in Tumerico for about a dozen times (who counts? The portions are very generous, and I always have to go home. They have recently expanded their dining area after they have taken over the room next door, and on a Sunday afternoon it is still almost full of happy people who scramble the delicious dishes. Super friendly staff and casual, comfortable atmosphere. Today they offered a dish I had not seen before the Diego Rivera enchiladas covered with mol sauce. (There is always something new and/or surprise on the menu. The sauce was great. I can't go enough over this restaurant. I think it is the best of the breed for Tucson (can be the whole West! ."

"one of my fav vegan breakfast is to order their vegan burrito and swallow the tofu for their vegan chili. her tofu is great, I just prefer the chili in the burrito. I also enjoy the sweet potato sandwich and the Asian citrus soy frit. the inside is beautiful and the inside restaurant is a hip old building. large gift shop with many local thems."

"I wanted to try tito and peps already one because and we finally left last night. everything was delicious and the service was also perfect. super friendly, informative and efficient service without a hurry. our server has described everything perfectly and answered a few questions for us. we had the fundido, carrots with labne and green salad to start and share all three among us. our entrees (also divided) were the hunch with salsa verde and brussel sprouts as well as the ny strip steak with charcoal beans. both dishes were so tasteful and perfectly cooked. there were many proteins in the two dressed to share 3 possibilities. can't wait to go back. we were too full after our drinks and dinner for dessert next time"

"While I give this a 4/5 rating, it really is the best Chinese food I’ve had, and I’ve eaten Chinese food all over the US.Impressions of what we ordered:-Honey walnut shrimp-the shrimp were huge, and they didn’t over-bread it. They were also de-tailed which was great!-Guo Bao Pork-general Tao’s chicken-great flavor but wish it had more sauce-orange chicken-same as above-a bit too dry for my taste-Garlic Pork Ribs-AMAZING-spicy pork wonton-didn’t like these, not much flavor-traditional beef noodle-great flavor but the beef had a LOT of fat on it. The broth was incredible though; I also added some spicy chili sauce to it and brought it to another level."
