"Cool little restaurant with a Cajun flair. We were greeted by two different people with friendly smiles. Lunch wasn't busy when we went, but great experience. Sweet tea was on point! We ordered fried pickles. Crispy and not over battered. We ordered shrimp and catfish plate. A little pricey but worth the fresh food. Fries were even good. Gumbo was outstanding and not too spicy or salty. The waitress was so nice and treated my kids very well with engagement and listening. Topped it off with bread pudding with fresh sauce. Delicious! Total experience was well worth the price. Live music on the weekends!! GEAUX get you some."

Best Cajun/creole food north of the Louisiana border. Pic #1 is their crawfish etouffee french fries appetizer. Pic #2 is the seafood pasta dish.

I visited Ft. Smith from Tulsa for a concert and was looking for a place to eat, so I chose this restaurant. I ordered the Creole chicken pasta, and it was fantastic! The service was excellent, and the food was delicious. I highly recommend it!

My husband and I visited this restaurant for the first time and tried both trio options from the menu. They were fantastic! We will definitely be returning. Our waitress was wonderful and took great care of us, and all the staff were friendly as well. We highly recommend that everyone give this place a try—you won’t regret it!

I went out for dinner with a group of seven and we were seated right away. Our waitress, Anna, was fantastic! She was very attentive, offered great suggestions, and was refreshingly honest. I can assure you that you won't be disappointed with Landry's. I ordered the Blackened Catfish Royale and it was absolutely delicious. The next time I'm in Fort Smith, I will definitely be returning to Landry's.

Went here on a whim, driving back home, and it looked cute. They were going to close in about 40 minutes, but still let us come in. Our server, Lily, is soooo sweet. She made sure we got everything in a timely manner. The cocktails are good too. I did the Apple special ! Crown, cranberry juice , and I think sweet and sour. We got the trio and the catfish ettoufee. I’ve never seen so much crawfish in ettoufee before! I’ve never been served corn with ettoufee either, but it works. Wish they toasted the bread though.

"Hadn’t been to Benson’s in a while, it’s a small restaurant and usually busy, but I had read some comments lately about how good the food is, so my son, granddaughter, and I tried it on a Saturday morning about 10am. Had to wait 5 minutes for a table. The waitstaff moved quickly and efficiently and were very welcoming and very attentive. They moved about the small space with the intention of keeping the customers fed and taken care of. The restaurant was very clean. I was intrigued by the Gotcha description even tho I usually don’t care for current day versions of biscuits and sausage gravy. I couldn’t imagine how it could be served without being a soggy mess. Anyway, I decided to try it, added cheese and onions to the hashbrowns, and asked for bacon on the side rather than stacked. Coffee cups were kept filled. Service was fast, the restaurant was full the entire time we were there. I was completely Gobsmacked by the Gotcha. The biscuit on the bottom was not soggy, I could taste the firmness of the outside and fluffy of the inside. The hashbrowns were crisp with just the right amount of cheddar so you could see and taste it. Eggs were scrambled. The side of bacon was cooked just crisp enough. The crowning glory was the white gravy (no sausage, the gravy stood alone! with a decent amount of black pepper, it really was a lovely dish! This is the gravy of my childhood which was a staple, either for breakfast or for supper to accent a platter of fried chicken and mashed potatoes. My greatest compliment of this dish is that is that it was not over salted. I have a great sensitivity/dislike of high sodium foods and I know this dish lends itself to high sodium….but salt was not added to this food to make it more palatable! We were offered the addition of extra spice, jalapeños, choice of hot sauces, but the flavor of the dish held its own, the first taste/flavor was not screaming high sodium! I’m still not sure how this combo worked so well, but it’s a fantastic breakfast and I will be back soon."
