"We had ordered a few appetizers, but after finishing, we had to wait quite a while because a group of 70 was served before us with their main dishes. It took a long time for our food to arrive. We ended up sending back a steak that was supposed to be medium-rare, as it was so tough that we couldn’t cut it. Our waitress was great in handling that situation. However, we didn’t receive our drinks until we asked for them, and the waiting staff seemed to have forgotten about them. The atmosphere was quite loud, which made it challenging for those of us with hearing issues, especially since we were seated in the middle of the dining area. While I can overlook these issues, I felt it was important to share my feedback in hopes of a better experience next time!"

The food at this restaurant is outstanding and sourced from local farms. We arrived for an early dinner and noticed a few people already there, enjoying drinks and some appetizers.

I visited the restaurant on a Saturday evening around 7 PM, and there was no wait. The burnt ends were absolutely delicious, and the presentation of the walleye and prime rib dinners was impressive... View menu

We visited for Sunday Brunch, and it was amazing! They had an omelette station, salads, soup, and all your breakfast favorites. The food was hot, fresh, and delicious. We're definitely planning to return!

Overall, it was just average. The Willy melt was decent, but the bread could have been toasted a bit more, and the fries could have been crispier. However, the pickle was really tasty. As for the cheese curds, they were just okay.

we had a very nice lunch and all enjoyed eating her except my wife and I. it seemed like we were the only ones who had unsatifaction with our meal times. I ordered cocos yarns and it came very well made and very hard to eat. my wife ordered a truthahnburger without a bun with only one piece salat and fries that we don't think is so hard to treat, but she got tweak, tomato, pickel and no salat at all. we order what we want and we can eat because of health problems, so there is not much wasted eating. another of our group asked for something different from the menu and had no problems. We enjoyed a pleasant lunch, and everyone seemed to be happy with their meals—except for my wife and me. It felt like we were the only ones who were dissatisfied. I ordered coconut shrimp, which was well-prepared but quite difficult to eat. My wife requested a turkey burger without the bun, with just a single piece of lettuce and fries. However, she ended up with onions, tomatoes, pickles, and no lettuce at all. We have specific dietary needs due to health issues, so we are careful about what we order to avoid unnecessary food waste. In contrast, another group who ordered off-menu had no issues at all.

we had laid a few orders from appetizers and after we were finished that we were told a group of 70 in the back, was before us to get our main dish. it took a long time to get our food. we had to send back a steak that was cooked med/rare because the meat was so hard that you could not cut it. the waitress was great as she treated it. we didn't get our pop songs until we asked for them, and the waiting staff put them on us. it was a bit loud, which was difficult for those of us to hear the problems and have in the middle of the sitting area. these are things that I can overlook, but the feeling important enough to express opinions in hopes of a better experience next time!

"This place really helped me adjust. I later learned that people gravitate towards certain bars, and I found my favorites, especially those with live music like Birchmere, Black Cat, 9:30 Club, Lincoln, Capital One Arena, and even the now-closed O'Shaughnessy's and Rock & Roll Hotel. One of my most memorable experiences was running into Rory Sheridan on one of my first visits. He was launching his DC music campaign back then and was part of Loud Boyz. We chatted a few times, and I even caught up with some old classmates. Another highlight was when I heard about a “reunion” night before Thanksgiving, and I decided to crash it. There were moments where people could be unkind or I felt out of place, but I was given some guidance on where I would fit in better, without the unnecessary drama. Being in Old Town, I was familiar with nearby schools like West Potomac, Mount Vernon, and Bishop Ireton. During my visits, I would often take an Alexandria cab or use Metro Access, being discreet about my disability since I felt embarrassed at times. Being a regular meant navigating the tourist scene, and there were people who seemed territorial about the place, but I ended up doing quite well when I sold my house. Good times continued with events like watching RG3 play for the Redskins or meetups organized by JT. I enjoyed New Year’s celebrations and weekend outings. I also frequented other establishments like Flying Fish before it closed, and O'Shaughnessy's before I decided to stop drinking. This is a sports bar located near a bicycle shop, close to the Ben & Jerry's I used to work at, along with many other walkable bars for bar hopping, like Union Street Pub and Fish Market. It can be a great place to have fun, but with the good comes some downsides. Overall, I felt well-hosted and respected here, despite some things I was not initially aware of or didn’t want to uncover."
