We waited for two hours and never even received a menu. The male waiter walked by us several times while deliberately looking the other way. The service was awful. I recommend avoiding this place altogether.

The food was delicious, and the prices were reasonable. My only complaint is that I informed them I have celiac disease and need to eat gluten-free when making the reservation. However, I received my delicious lobster salad with deep-fried corn fritters on my plate. I had double-checked with both the waitress and the chef to ensure I could have that salad. We love this place. Food is excellent. We usually sit outside except on Mothers Day and other special events when it's too cold. The only drawback is the wait time. It sometimes takes an hour or longer to get our food. Our family dines here on a weekly to monthly basis. It's a bit pricey but the food is worth it. They have unique specials. Pinã Coladas are delicious! My favorites are the clams and truffle fries. The house salad is the most delicious salad you will ever eat. Nearby activities: Saxonburg is a clean, cute town with lots of cute shops and fun places to visit.

I recently hosted my son's rehearsal dinner at the hotel, and I wanted to express my heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed to making it a perfect event. Mitch and Brendan, along with the entire kitchen staff, truly went above and beyond to ensure it was special. The entrée portions were generous and absolutely delicious. Additionally, I want to thank Fallon and Cyndi for their fantastic service and Nicci for serving great drinks. Kelly and Val did an amazing job setting up the room and making it look beautiful. A special shoutout to Judy for allowing us to have our dinner there and for always exceeding our expectations.

My wife and I have visited Hotel Saxonburg several times, primarily for dinner. Each time, we held out hope that the food might have improved, but we’ve been disappointed every single time. During our last visit, my salmon was nearly inedible due to its terrible taste, and I usually enjoy just about anything! Since they had run out of the salmon special, my wife ordered salmon without the toppings, and it was completely unseasoned—no salt, no pepper, nothing! I sincerely hope the new owners consider replacing the chef and revamping the menu. It’s really unfortunate because this place has so much potential.
