"Overall a decent place and something needed in Angleton. Sushi quality has been up and down over the years but this most recent time I came it was good. Service also has been alright over the years. Nice restaurant if you want sushi in Angleton! Great Ramen. Delicious Crab cheese Rangoons. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"

"I was surprised that the crowd was small for a Thursday evening. We had the crab cakes and spinach artichoke dip for appetizers and they were great as usual. Service was a bit behind on beverages. We ordered Ribeye Delmonico, Fettuccine al Carbonara, and Fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp and scallops. The Delmonico had a mushroom cognac sauce. It was soupy, insufficient reduction. The dish felt more like crockpot roast. Flavor was acceptable. The Fettuccine al Carbonara was also soupy, and lacked the flavor of a Carbonara. Obviously the bechamel based Alfredo sauce was used, and it was runny. The Fettuccine Alfredo with Shrimp and Scallops arrived as Shrimp and Chicken (insert buzzer sound). We didn’t send it back because it was late and they were already shutting down the kitchen. We finished our meal with heavy metal music blaring from the kitchen cleanup and brooms and mops swirling all around. The food quality was far below what we’ve come to expect from Giovanni’s. They’re on double secret probation with us now."

"The food was pretty good however my friend asked for extra garlic in hers and onion on her salad. Both were so scarce. It was my birthday and I chose Luigi’s because it’s usually good. The waitress never asked about refills on drinks and we were going to ask for dessert but Nicole never offered. In stead when she brought to go containers she abruptly said you can pay me at the register. This was my friends first visit and her attitude blew it. In addition, there weren’t many people in the restaurant but she sat a couple with a whiney child right behind the two of us older women."

"This place has a lot to offer! Great food with lots of flavor. The Brisket Tots are tasty and the Skillet Scampi has a little kick which was a great surprise! The servers are friendly and the atmosphere is fun. They have one area that is for dining only and the other side has the bar the stage where the bands play. If there is a band playing sometimes you have to buy tickets to stay for the show. Reservations are recommended but not required. They have some good mixed drink options. My favorite was the Mint Cucumber Daiquiri! There are two patio areas to enjoy, one in the front that faces the street and one in the back with comfy couches fun photo backdrop wall. You will enjoy this place!"

"I visited the Stephen Austin Statue and the city museum while looking for a Mexican restaurant. According to Google, I should check out Jimador. I arrived around 2 PM, and the place was empty, which made ordering a breeze. I decided to go with the pollo (chicken). It had been six months since I last had Mexican food, and I have to say, it was absolutely delicious. When I went to pay, one of the servers asked me, "Are you Japanese?" I replied yes and shared how much I missed Mexican cuisine. Honestly, I think tacos are even better than sushi here in Texas! The authenticity of Mexican culture in Texas is truly impressive. The restaurant had a wonderfully vibrant Mexican atmosphere that I thoroughly enjoyed. I even spotted a mural of Selena, the famous singer. The vibe here is undeniably Tex-Mex!"
