"Our appetizer of meatballs arrived lukewarm on a bed of soggy bread, and my companion's lasagna bolognese had an unexpected sweetness that was quite off-putting. The only redeeming aspect of the meal was the carafe of Nero d’Avola, which was quite enjoyable. I had high hopes for this restaurant, but ultimately, I left feeling very disappointed."

The food was excellent, but the service was quite poor. The waitstaff seemed to be gathered in a corner, and there was no one attending to the tables. I even had to go to the kitchen to retrieve one of my dishes. Due to the unsatisfactory service, I wouldn't consider returning.

My friend and I were thrilled with everything we ordered. The bitter greens salad was fresh and perfectly dressed; the calamari fritti tender, the octopus perfectly grilled and the baked eggplant delicious. It was a trip to sunny Italia on a blustery NYC winter day. Can't wait to go back!
