Let’s discuss the drinks and food. I began with an outstanding Old Fashioned, while my wife enjoyed a delightful chardonnay. We shared a flatbread special topped with braised short ribs, followed by meatballs served with polenta, and a delectable beet salad — such a wonderful combination! The steaks were cooked perfectly and had a wonderful flavor. However, I was hoping for a broader selection of steak options, including various cooking styles and sides. The menu also had limited choices for side dishes. In conclusion, I felt I didn’t get my money’s worth. While the food was decent, it didn’t justify a second visit given the prices. I've been turned away several times due to long wait times, which is making me less enthusiastic about coming back. Moreover, their online reservation system has been down for quite some time. This is the second occasion where I've arrived after seeing they were not busy and that reservations weren't being taken, only to be informed there would be a one-hour wait. The brisket was extremely tender, though it may not have been as lean as some might like, which can be a difficult balance to strike. The mac and cheese was fantastic, featuring tender, moist, and flavorful meat. The service was quick, and the staff was both friendly and professional.
