"I had the Heritage Pork Medallion dinner, which came with delicious cheesy garlic potatoes and truly addictive glazed carrots. My husband opted for the Bull Thistle Filet, which he paired with the delightful garlic potatoes and a side salad. Everything was cooked to perfection, and it's clear the chef and kitchen staff really know what they’re doing. We can't wait to try more dishes, as this will become our go-to spot for date nights. I grew up in Jackson County, and it’s lovely to see the historic building—once a favorite store from my childhood—preserved so beautifully. The original wooden floors and stunning tray ceilings add a charming touch to the new features, creating a wonderful atmosphere for date nights, family gatherings, and special occasions. I'm genuinely impressed by how well this restaurant operates and just how delicious the food is. I can’t wait for our next visit, especially since I spotted some amazing desserts on the menu! I’m so glad this fantastic gastropub has emerged in my hometown; it’s truly worth a trip for anyone in Tennessee. It’s even better than many costly restaurants in larger cities!"

We come down about once a month and order the Cod . a couple of our friends told us that they ordered the Cod and the portions now have been reduced to 2 pieces now Is this right what they told us?

Our second visit, on Mothers Day, was horrible. After our first visit in Dec. we thought we had found our go to place for special occasions. Then we went back for Mothers Day lunch. They had a very limited Mothers Day menu which included raising the prices for that day. Had fish and chips. The fish was greasy and the fries were not hot. Could have gotten better at a fast food place. Service was ok but nothing special. Not worth the drive or money.
