"I ordered the Kibee and Grape leaves plate, my husband ordered the Lamb and rice. My food was cooked perfectly, and the portions were very filling. His lamb looked delicious and he said it was the most tender, juicy lamb he's ever had. We had Garlic fries and onion rings for appetizers. The garlic fries were heavily covered with garlic and I absolutely loved it, while my husband could have done with a bit less garlic. You can tell that they were hand-cut fries and they were delicious. Our beers were icy cold and the waitress was attentive and helpful. We went before the dinner rush on a Tuesday so it was quiet and peaceful. Don't be fooled by the Dive Bar Vibes or the neighborhood. Looks are quite deceptive and the food was amazing. Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian options, but you really have to look for things and ask for substitutions. Parking: The parking lot is full of potholes and it was not an enjoyable experience for our tiny car. The alley beside the parking lot is also full of potholes. Kid-friendliness: The area is very wide open and roomy so you can have plenty of space for the whole family. Wheelchair accessibility: The front entry looks like you are walking up to someone's home. There are steps and no room for a wheelchair. The back entrance has a wheelchair ramp, but it's not very wide and neither is the door to get inside."

Everytime I go the food is incredible and hits the spot. Every time! Probably my favorite place in town

The garlic fries are incredible and all the food we had was at least above average. It is a bar and restaurant. Don’t go here for atmosphere, there isn’t much. However if you want very good food, give this place a try.

It's my cousin's restaurant, and it's fantastic! The lamb is exceptional, and everything on the menu is delicious. Angelo Medure Jr. was there yesterday with a young lady, and I have a feeling it might be the last time he sees her, haha! View menu

Went for wings, got them very quickly. Unfortunately that was because they simply took wings that were already cooked and cold and re-dropped them in the fryer. Inevitable result was tough, chewy wings. Waitress was friendly and service was ok.

Cedars is a local spot that offers generous portions, and the staff is friendly and efficient. The Syrian bread features a delightful crust and a soft, pillowy center. I highly recommend trying the Pittsburgh sandwich. We also visited on wing night, and the wings were fantastic. They serve a sizable helping of fresh-cut fries accompanied by their homemade ranch dressing. If you find yourself in New Castle, you must stop by and experience a place that locals have adored for over 65 years.

We wanted to try this place after hearing about it from a friend. Our wait person was wonderful. She greeted us with a huge smile and enthusiastic hello. We did not have to wait to be seated, just come on in and find a table we liked. It's a bar atmosphere, but if you don't want to sit by the bar there is a small dining room set away from it. The food was better than bar food and reasonably priced, which in this day and age is refreshing. In all we really liked Cedars, and will definitely be back! View menu

Arrived just before 5:30pm this evening and it took 20 minutes to even get greeted by the waitress. There were about 5 tables in the dining room so busy, but nothing crazy. Got our beverages then ordered. As time passed the waitress spilled ranch dressing onto the dining room floor right next to our table and after just ignoring it for several minutes, I observed her just smush it into the carpet with her shoe. Didn’t wipe it up, spray it down or anything which was very disturbing. 75 minutes later our table finally received our food. No apologies for the wait or explanation whatsoever. It appeared waitress forgot to put our order in because other tables who arrived after us received their f...

I opted for the Cedars Combo. While I appreciate cheese, I prefer my lamb to be purely lamb. My wife, Linda, however, enjoyed the cheese with her lamb dish, and after tasting it, I have to say it was outstanding. The combo also features chicken, which was quite good, but the lamb truly steals the spotlight here. I've never had any problems with the lamb at Cedars. My wife orders it medium, which always arrives perfectly pink, while I prefer my lamb medium-rare, and it's always cooked just right. The cooks here consistently nail it. These meals come with a small cup of garlic sauce, which I always use. Surprisingly, the sauce isn’t overwhelmingly garlicky. The bread served is a wedge of Syri...
