"we found the food very good as was the service. what we did not like was the cost in relation to other establishments; Golf steakhouse in Kitchener and Aristoltle's in Mississauga. Both offer salad with potatoes and veges as one price, and Golf also offers soup. Golf has a smaller beef and lower price while Aristotle's has a larger slice and a higher price Our preference would be either of the based on additions to the meal which Keg does not offer What is interesting is that the the others are family run while the Keg is a chain"

We ate too much. LOL. Food was excellent. Colin our waiter was excellent. It was a great night out for our Anniversary. Would go back again in a heartbeat.

Exceptional service. Our server was the perfect balance of attention without intrusiveness. Food was prompt and as usual done to perfection As is perhaps unavoidable with a capacity crowd the noise level was very noticeable... not sure how this could be reduced Overall ... Exceptional.

Everything from the Host at the front door, to the service to the food, everything was fantastic! The only suggestion I have is, if you're going to ask if it's a special occasion' and it IS, you should tell the server! The host knew. Why bother asking if they have to ask us again at the table? Asked for keg classic to share prime rib, thought it would be cut in half cross wise not super thin lengthwise. Veggies were warm, mushrooms cool, Only one super hot horse radish, no choice, no Yorkshire pudding. Ceasar salad good, gave small one to my husband. Miners pie great for birthday person. His Steak was great and deep fried cauliflower So to out of four happy.

Reservations were for my wife’s birthday. We were pleasantly surprised to get a table for four beside the fireplace. Food was prepared to our satisfaction. The portion of the prime rib was larger than expected. The calamari was spicy and the potato side complemented the meal perfectly. Also loved the Creemore draft beer. We ended the evening with a cherry cheesecake. Best meal since being released from the COVID prison.

"No soup/sandwich shop compares in terms of price per quality, portion size, and different options in the area. I only started ordering from here about 2 weeks ago and I’ve now had 7 different kinds of soups and 4 different kinds of sandwiches after the first order I started ordering two soups and a sandwich aka a soup to save for later because they’re just that good, every one of them. Price is so very reasonable and depending on which combo you get you can make out with a full sized sandwich and large sized homemade soup for $14.While it’s hard to recommend one thing over another in this circumstance since it’s all been great in their own ways, the Chicken Chowder is something I plan on getting a quart of next time it’s available. The Chicken Barley and Chicken Lemon Rice are ones I plan on getting quarts of in the future as well, and that’s not to discount the Chicken Noodle, Beef and Veg Noodle Stew, French Onion, and the current seasonal Chilled Gazpacha (which I probably wouldn’t have even tried it wasn’t from these guys . It’s all top quality. The Chicken Tarragon sandwich is my favorite in terms of sandwiches although it can’t combo with a soup as of now (please let us! . The best cheap soup combo sandwich is a tossup between the Cilantro Tuna and Ciabatta Sandwich, which are both incredible in their own ways. The only few drawbacks to this place are they don’t have every soup they make every day, are only open until 4PM, and aren’t open on the weekends. That said it’s worth it to plan accordingly for this. I never review anything but this place is worth it it’s the best if you’re a soup and sandwich person like I am."
