"We ate here a couple of mornings during our stay at the Sportsmen’s Lodge and loved it too much choice really for us great to see oatmeal/ porridge being British! as an option and the avocado toast was lovely. My daughters has French toast with apples and pecans also lovely sweet but not excessive. Portions were big but not over facing having said that we didn’t need any lunch! Service very friendly and pretty quick prices as we expected. Funky setting too . Would really recommend."

We had a great breakfast here. The service was excellent, and the food was delicious. Please note that the café was only open until 2 PM during our stay at the lodge.

This is one of my favorite places for breakfast. They recently renovated and modernized the café, but the quality of the food and service is still excellent. They serve freshly made waffles, eggs benedict, and all the classic breakfast options. The prices are reasonable, making it a fantastic alternative to the typical breakfast chains.

A long-time favorite of mine! Today, I had the Mediterranean Turkey Burger, which was delicious, and paired it with their fantastic homemade potato chips and refreshing iced tea. Gregory's service was outstanding. The decor is bright and cheerful. I will definitely keep coming back, although I do wish they were open later than 2 PM. If they were, I'd be there even more often! I wouldn't give any stars if I could, I would give this place a -5. First of all, the atmosphere feels excessively sterile and unwelcoming. To make matters worse, I found a used condom in my food, which is absolutely disgusting! I'm appalled by my experience here. Additionally, the water they serve tastes like premium gasoline – it's hard to believe this establishment is still in business.

"Easily my favorite bakery in LA!!! Being French, I feel like it's so hard to find good authentic French bakeries but Lou sets the bar soooooo high! No other bakeries have topped Lou's. The croissants are *chef's kiss*, they're flaky, buttery and taste delicious EVERY TIME! I also like their chocolate bread (pain au chocolat) and eclairs, though the eclairs are much sweeter so if you're into that, definitely give them a try! I really love how they are consistent with their pastries. There was never a time when I was disappointed. Now keep in mind they get very busy on the weekend, the wait can be long like 20 mins, especially if you order sandwiches (which by the way, are delicious too and worth it!!! I tried the chicken and turkey sandwiches and would highly recommend them). I think they run out of baguettes after 1pm or even sooner sometimes so if you want baguettes or sandwiches, definitely show up earlier. Even their drinks are so good, I always get their vanilla latte and once again, it tastes delicious e-ve-ry single time! Wanna know another thing I love about this place? The service! Every time we ordered sandwiches and the wait was long, they'd give us a heads up before finalizing our order in case we wanted to skip the sandwiches. One time, there was a mixup which resulted in us getting our sandwiches later than expected so to apologize for the wait, they offered us a croissant * * You will also often see Lou, the chef and owner, walk around and say hi to his customers. He may even sit with them and chat for a few minutes. He seems to know a lot of people in the neighborhood and that's actually how it is in France. Bakeries are in every corner and we love our bakers! Anyway I know this is now a super long review but I only have amazing things to say about this place, their food, the chef and the staff. I just wish they'd open every day"

"Deja Vu Cakes is a fantastic bakery that I highly recommend to anyone looking for a delicious treat. This family-owned bakery is run by a husband and wife who bake everything on-site, and their commitment to using only all-natural ingredients with no artificial additives is admirable.I visited this bakery on St. Patrick's Day, my experience was nothing short of wonderful. The staff was very friendly and hospitable, making me feel welcome and appreciated from the moment I walked in. They had a fantastic selection of seasonal cupcakes displayed top-level of the display case that are beautifully decorated and a sight to behold which included the St. Patrick's Day cupcake with a gold coin on top. The St. Patrick's Day cupcake was a red velvet cake, colored green, and topped with a gold chocolate coin. The frosting was creamy and rich, and our daughter loved it.The Bailey's cupcakes had some alcohol in them, and they were a real treat. The frosting was creamy and rich, and the cupcakes were moist and flavorful. We enjoyed every bite. The bakery's prices are also reasonable, ranging from 4-5 dollars per item. The shop itself is cute and has a welcoming atmosphere, with a friendly and hospitable staff that makes the entire experience even more enjoyable.Overall, we had a fantastic experience at Deja Vu Cakes and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious and friendly bakery.I highly recommend Deja Vu Cakes for their excellent customer service, quality cupcakes, and commitment to using all-natural ingredients. If you're looking for a delicious and welcoming bakery, this is the place to go."
