"This little gem of a café serves the finest coffee around, with impeccable attention to detail. Without a doubt, you'll find the best coffee in the area here. The beans are roasted in-house and thoughtfully selected, sourced from villages worldwide. (Check out the photos below!) I would much rather support this local spot than big chains like Starbucks or Dunkin' Donuts. They also have a fantastic new assortment of flavored nuts and various home coffee essentials. Personally, I love the Whiskey Cinnamon Pecans! If you're looking for a drink recommendation, try the Mexican Dulce Latte—it's energizing and consistently great. I am definitely a repeat customer and will continue to be. Don't miss their Coffee Tree display; it really rounds out the whole coffee-making process."

"just adding to address the response. I do take back that you didn't offer an apology, you did. Sorry. However, our conversation and your response still do not address my chief complaint , which was not that your portion sizes were too large but that the person that picked up the phone should have suggested we had too much food and maybe we should cut back on one or tow portion sizes, especially since I made it clear how unsure I was and was looking for her guidance. That is the crux of my issue. i have been a regular patron for decades, by dining in or in some or in this case ordered in. i asked the receptionist for some guidance for 6 people, telling her we wanted 6-7 dishes. We were 6 people with average appetites and half the food is leftover. i understand that 1.5 orders feeds 4-6 people but what the receptionist should have told me once she knew we were ordering that many dishes we should have ordered less dishes ordered the single size portion in some if not all cases. Case in point, she suggested 2 full size trays of garlic bread (which was horrible btw) and 3/4 of it was left over. I unnecessarily spent an exorbitant amount of money on a 6 person meal, trusted the receptionist and should have received better guidance when ordering that many things. when i called back 2 days later to express my feelings to the manager, he basically offered me a refund for the garlic bread, not taking any responsibility for being totally misguided. LP has been doing this for decades and should KNOW that the more the dishes, cut back on the portion sizes...... Had i received a bit more of a token gesture and a small apology, you wouldn't be reading this review. DG"

"This is now our favorite sushi spot, with a dimly lit lounge area and good music that enhances relaxation and flavor tasting. The waitstaff at this Long Island restaurant provides top-notch service. Even with my toddler in tow, we received professional and welcoming treatment. As a former bartender, I am impressed by the creativity and quality of their signature drinks. The hibachi section can be loud, so be prepared for a lively atmosphere. Despite the noise, the hibachi food is excellent, though not necessarily the best I've had. The entertainment at the hibachi tables is constant, as there are many tables turning over regularly."

"I was very excited to go to dinner. They were very accommodating with the reservation times. I was disappointed at a few minor things, overall it turned out alright. We were seated and waited close to 10 minutes before someone even came over to us. The place was somewhat empty at 4:30 p.m. (reservation time). Which made it a bit more puzzling. The server gave no greeting or introduction, just said I will take your drink order . He quickly walked away. We waited another 10 minutes before another server came over to say, do you know what you are eating? I was puzzled at this question. Nothing else was said. The server finally said do you want the full experience? It was a good thing I looked at the menu before arriving. Overall the meat servings are plenty, but be weary of the vegetables at the buffet. I got very sick on that. I don 't think I will repeat this one."

"I am a frequent customer who usually enjoys the experience. Last night, however, the restaurant was not properly cooled, and it was very warm and humid in the main area. The service was terrible. We waited forever to order and had to grab a passing busboy to ask him to find someone to take the order. The food arrived and I ordered Linguini Vongole that arrived overcooked with browned shells and many of the small clams were shriveled up. My guess is that it was cold, so they popped it under the broiler or in a very hot oven. After the meal, the table was cleared and the waitress asked if we wanted dessert, which we declined. We were talking quite a while, and we never got the check. Again, I grabbed whoever was passing by to request it. When I was ready to pay by card, for the third time, I accosted a passing waitress (not ours) to take the payment. All-in-all, a disappointing, sub-par experience."
