"The Fried Chicken Sunday Special was really special, including the traditional string bean with mushroom soup (all homemade), but, of course, was sufficient for another lunch. I always like this place. we had a large bottle of french chablis that we bought at the retail price. we shared the beet salad the lettuce chicken wrap. all good.

the tavern has become our goal if we want to get out. friendly staff, big wine and delicious food. our favorite is the cheeseburger served salate style. delicious!

Mark has made some interesting changes to the tavern to adapt to the re-opening after the state shutdown. The space feels open and airy. New twists on the menu were a nice surprise! View menu

Victoria helped make it a delightful evening for us...even got to taste two whisky's that Mark was reviewing on Plate and Pour, as we sipped. We always are happy with anything Tarbell'.

First night they were open for seated service. Distancing was appropriate, limited menu at this time, although if you ask you can still get your favorites. Service was good and friendly as always. The minute a table was cleared it was disinfected, chairs included.
