"When we arrived, we requested to be seated in a far corner to allow for more space from other diners. However, the host denied our request, claiming the other half of the restaurant was closed, leaving us seated too close to two other parties, despite the entire other half being unused. At this point, we were already regretting our choice to dine here; we had hoped Tonka Hills would demonstrate responsible practices. When my grandmother asked our server if she could wear a mask while serving us, the server was taken aback and said that she didn’t have one. It was disheartening to see such a complete lack of awareness about the ongoing pandemic. My grandmother has been a loyal customer for years, but I worry that this experience may deter her from returning after the disrespectful treatment from both the host and our server. Although they maintained a “nice” demeanor, it was clear they dismissed our concerns, even laughing at our reasonable requests considering the circumstances. It feels as though the staff is disconnected from the reality most people are facing right now, which is unfortunate since the food is truly excellent. I'm saddened that I can't support them further until they improve their leadership and responsiveness to these critical health concerns."

Nice place, had lunch. I ordered a baked potato it was good. The person I was with order burger and fries. She loved it. Fries were a large portion and she said they we're the best that's had on a long time and she loved the burger too! It was during the week so not real busy. View menu

The baked potatoes they served had been reheated so many times that they were shriveled and brown. The skin was tough, and to make matters worse, they were cold. The all-you-can-eat fish was low-quality and unappetizing. I really don’t understand how this place remains in business.

This used to be one of our favorite restaurants. Unfortunately, they are not implementing any measures to address concerns about the Covid-19 virus. None of the staff were wearing masks, and half of the dining room was closed, resulting in tables being seated less than six feet apart. When we asked our server to wear a mask, the staff made light of our request. We won’t be returning.

I give this restaurant 2 stars primarily because the service was satisfactory. However, the roast beef we ordered was incredibly unappetizing. The gravy was unpleasant, and the mashed potatoes seemed like they were instant. We also tried the salad bar, but I would recommend just ordering a side salad instead, as it was quite underwhelming, although at least it was edible. The potato soup lacked flavor and was very watery. I was taken aback that the roast beef was even served, and I believe it should be removed from the menu entirely. View menu

Went for catfish special they advertised. Salad bar...lettuce very little there and wilted. Not much else on bar very limited. Catfish hard as a rock burnt and horrible taste. Should have kmowm when only 3 other people in om a friday night at 630 and they not eating the special. At the end waitress see nothing eaten and says wasnt good? I stated no not at all...even the baked potato was thoughly cpooed and cold. Didnt eat it either. No offer of refund or do you want something else. Just huffed and handed me check. Paid full price for nothing. When leaving still no one new had came in. Guess just a matter of time before this closes.

My husband, brother-in-law, and I ate at this establishment. The atmosphere was what you would expect fromt the name of the place. We partook the breakfast buffet on Sat around 845 am. We were not greeted by anyone for a good couple of min, as we stood awkwardly, in the entrance in front of the wait to be seated sign. It seemed, at the time, that we were the only ones there. After being seated we started on the buffet the bacon was good, the eggs left something of a taste in our mouths, the biscuit and gravy was a hit with the boys, and the waffles were tasty.
