"Everything was excellent. Despite arriving late for our reservations, we only had to wait 10 minutes, which was not an issue. The staff was very professional and we were not rushed at all. Our food arrived promptly and the Short Rib with polenta was amazing. My dining companions also enjoyed their meals. I highly recommend this restaurant if you have the chance to visit."

If you're looking for a romantic dining experience where you can share meatballs like Lady and the Tramp, then this is the perfect place. The ambiance, service, and food were all exceptional. I?ve been to Il Mulino, Carbone and other ?fancy? Italian restaurants in Manhattan. But Trattoria L?incontro in Astoria is by far hands down THE BEST among them. Absolutely the best homemade Italian food and the best service. I can?t think of a different word other than BEST. This is a must try when you in New York????????
