"At the buffet, we enjoyed various items, including chickpea salad, fresh cut vegetables, green salad, and pakoras (which were running out quickly, so I snagged some from my husband's plate!). There was also baby corn, some stir-fried vegetables (which I didn't really enjoy), chili chicken, Greek chicken, chicken tikka masala, paneer palak, rice, Peshawari dal, rice kheer, masala chai, and gulab jamun. I found the gulab jamun to be quite sweet—I could only manage a quarter of one. I actually preferred the kheer over it. Unfortunately, the tandoori chicken I ordered felt rushed and wasn't as satisfying. They might want to consider reducing the size of the gulab jamun, as many people only ate half. Overall, it was a great experience, and I look forward to returning!"

Great ambience. Good selection of items during lunch buffet such as biryani, fruit, chai, butter chicken, idli, pakoras. If you're a fan of chutney their tomato and mint is very thick and flavorful.

This place is quintessential Fremont and I love it! Wife and I had dinner and drinks at the bar, which offered the full dinner menu. The bartender knows how to mix a mean cocktail. If you're a fan of the negroni, he won't disappoint. View menu

Highly recommend the Tandoori Mixed Grill (which is not on the menu) and the garlic naan. I would give this place 5 stars, however, their curries are lacking flavor and spices. Ask for Alex when you arrive. He is friendly and always has some great recommendations on what to try.

Update as of 10/08/2019: I have changed my rating to 5 stars. I visited again for evening drinks and a family dinner, and the food was fantastic (the pictures speak for themselves). The service was also excellent, and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I will definitely be coming back. It seems that the evening menu and service are much better than other offerings, such as the lunch buffet.

I visited Urban Spice on its opening day, Wednesday, July 25, 2018, and I was impressed by the beautiful decor. The food, prepared by the same team behind Biryani Bowl, has always been one of my favorites. I also appreciated the spaciousness of the venue, which I believe can accommodate up to 300 guests for banquets. The cocktails crafted by the bartender were fantastic! We have been here a couple of times. Once for a private party and other times had dinner in the restaurant. Menu has some interesting choices like Beet Cutlet, Goan Shrimp currry, Fish curry in addition to some delicious Chicken dishes. Overall the dishes are tasty and the ambience is good too. They can improce on their service. The waitinf staff are too eager to clear the table even before we are done. Prices are slightly on the higher side when compared to similar restaurants. One more aspect that I wanted to add is that their bar tender is horrible. He is just a kid who has no clue about the basics. Suggest not to order any cocktails

Came for lunch with a large group, and everyone enjoyed the food at the lunch buffet. Good selection of vegetable dishes and meat plus salads. All the typical dishes: paneer, daal, tandoori chicken and tikka masala. Plus others I don't recall but very good. Fresh naan delivered to the table. They are good at bringing more water since some dishes are spicy. None are incredibly spicy but there's many sauces you can add. They had two desserts: shredded carrot cake and cafe mousse. After Yelp check in it was only around $10 per person before taxes and tip! Great deal and good quality. Not too crowded. Definitely recommending and coming back!
