"Overall, I would give this restaurant 4.5 stars, but since it's a small-town gem, I’m raising it to a five. The place has a charming atmosphere that takes me back in time, and I really appreciate the bayou accents. All the staff members were friendly and welcoming. Even though I was dressed more like a city dweller than a local, I was treated well—which isn’t always the case in small towns. For lunch, I ordered two appetizers, which turned out to be more than enough. My first choice was the shrimp boulettes, which reminded me of deep-fried shrimp shumai but even better. They were absolutely delicious! When my lunch arrived, I initially thought I’d want ranch dressing, but it was so perfect that I didn’t need any sauce—why ruin perfection? I also tried the alligator jalapeño bites. They had good flavor without being overly spicy, but the inside was a bit too mushy for my taste. The spice and flavor were spot on, though; it was really just a matter of texture for me."

As for parking, there’s convenient parking right in front of the restaurant. I got takeout for dinner, and the price per person was around $20–30. I would rate the food a solid 5 out of 5, with service also receiving a 5. The atmosphere was nice, deserving a 4. Plus, there’s a free parking lot available!

While in Raceland for a family funeral we stopped in Vic’s for dinner. We felt right at “home” the moment we walked in, while being served delicious food we can’t get at home in TN. The staff/owners were amazing, the service was great and the food was so spectacular we are actually getting some to take home with us. Thank you for making our evening so pleasant View menu

I waited an hour and a half for my food, and after two and a half hours, I still hadn't received anything. I noticed that diners who were eating in the restaurant were getting their orders on time, while the takeout orders were completely neglected. This place is incredibly frustrating, and the service definitely doesn’t deserve any stars. I ended up getting a refund, but still no food!

This is a fantastic little family-run grill. They offer a variety of fried seafood and burgers, and the food is exceptional. The staff is very friendly, and there's ample parking available, including accessible options for those with disabilities. The prices are quite reasonable. The only suggestion I have is to consider adding softer lighting for a more cozy atmosphere. With only about 10 tables, the space feels just right. Overall, I would rate the food a 5, service a 5, and atmosphere a 4.

First, I ordered the shrimp boulettes, and they reminded me of deep-fried shrimp shumai, but even better. Oh my goodness, they were delicious! At first, I thought I’d want ranch dressing, but no sauce was necessary—why ruin perfection? I also tried the alligator jalapeño bites. They were flavorful without being overly spicy, but I found the interior a bit too mushy for my taste. The flavors were spot on, though; it was just a matter of texture. Overall, they had just the right amount of spice and flavor. View menu

Unfortunately, this restaurant doesn't even deserve half a star. When you walk in to order takeout, the wait is endless. The waitstaff seems completely indifferent to how long it takes to get my food – what started as a 30-minute wait turned into over an hour! I watched as friends of the staff came in and were served immediately while I was left waiting. I ended up asking multiple times about my order, and eventually they gave me a refund but said I could still take my food, which would take another 30 minutes. It's incredibly frustrating. I definitely won't be going back; this place has really gone downhill.

Well here I am again. I arrived at Vic's around 545 on a Friday afternoon and ordered two seafood platters and some onion rings. Y'all I waited over two hours for my food. I watched people come in sit at a table order their food and fifteen twenty minutes later they had their food. All the time I'm patiently waiting for my food. Then after two hours of waiting. Someone comes in orders food to go and twenty minutes later they get their food. I don't know who is running the kitchen but their Priorities or not in order. The seafood was fried too dry . I don't know if I will ever return . The only thing positive about this is I was given my money back. And I was not the only one it happened too....
