"One month ago the main chef and partial owner has left due to business negotiations being far from impartial.I’ve been seeing reviews that are disheartening to read going from 5 stars to 1 stars. He sold his share of the company. The chef that you all know, love, respect, and remember will be looking for a new location for work. Thank you to everyone who has supported the business and not only did you do that, but you supported him to feed a family of four, one of which is going to college, one of which whom is severely disabled, and one of which is an NYU MA graduate, who’s been needing her fathers support as she pays her loans. Thank you all and God bless you! Pray for the Chef!"

We visited Zaiqa Halal and tried the zinger burger and fish chips. Unfortunately, the fish and chips were overly salty, and the burger wasn’t very tasty. This was the only halal place I would go to because the food was cooked fresh and perfect! I went today and the food was cold they didn’t ask me if I wanted white sauce or hot sauce on my food like usual or if I wanted anything on my salad. I came to the reviews and from my understanding it is under new management. So if you are a usual customer here I wouldn’t go back or find out for yourself. Food was a waste of money this time around. Time to find a new place now ?

This is the best Halal place on Long Island! I order here at least a few times a month. I doordash my service and pick up. The food is always fresh regardless. You can also call ahead for your order as well. The workers here always friendly. They take the time to create your food with care and attention. Inside is clean, they have an open grill which you can see your food being prepared. There are a few tables set up for dining in. They also have a variety of beverages and ice cream popcicles. My favorite dish would be chicken over rice as well as their chicken sandwich patty. This place would get a 10/10 from me if possible!
