"Upon arriving at 5D Steakhouse, my family and I waited about 15 minutes just to be seated. We wandered through the large dining and lounge areas trying to find assistance, but no one was available. Eventually, a friendly bartender told us to sit down and assured us a waitress would come shortly. After another 10 to 15 minutes of waiting, we noticed a waitress in our section scrolling on her phone, despite being the only guests there. It was baffling that no one checked on us, so I had to approach her to place our order, which left a poor first impression. I ordered the Salmon Oscar, their signature dish, but it was disappointing. While the charbroiled salmon itself was flavorful, the rice and asparagus underneath were bland and lacked any seasoning. The asparagus was acceptable, but the overall presentation was sloppy, almost like an uninspired game of culinary Jenga. The only "signature" quality I found was how uninspiring the dish was—it felt more like a culinary letdown than a standout meal. The salmon ended up overshadowing the rest of the plate, rather than complementing it. With a price tag of $70, I didn’t feel the meal was worth it—I left feeling more cheated than satisfied. When it came to dessert, the waitress mentioned that none of the options were made in-house, and at $10 for tiny portions, it was hard to justify. If the server herself discourages ordering dessert, it really begs the question of why they offer it at all. At a steakhouse, I expect a satisfying, quality dining experience, not something that feels half-hearted. In summary, 5D Steakhouse felt more like a “Stinkhouse” than a restaurant worth visiting. I won’t be coming back and will take my business elsewhere."

Outstanding food, drinks, and service. There was a mistake with my order, but they promptly remade the entire meal even though I said it wasn’t needed! Be sure to try the Punch Bowl, but it’s big enough to share. Definitely a spot worth visiting.

I had an excellent experience at 5D Steakhouse in Yorktown, TX, thanks to our waitress, Faith. She was both friendly and attentive, making sure we were well looked after during our entire visit. Took my girlfriend to birthday dinner and ordered 2 tbone steaks that were cooked medium but had very little flavor and dry , this is the second time this has happened. Past few times I've gone out with my family food has been covered in salt. Like, if America valued salt like we value oil, our military would have invaded just to take my plate alone. The tea is either too bland or stronger than Arnold in prime. No coffee, which is a tad frustrating but honestly considering the tea, probably for the best. I don't want to be mean, but either their cooks don't actually know how to cook, or their being willfully neglectful with how they are measuring out seasoning.
