"I do not enjoy doing this. I assume people work hard to provide you with a memorable dining experience. I don't have a problem spending $150 to $200 on a meal but I want something memorable in return. I don't know anything about the ownership or management of the restaurant or the back of the house staff. For the money $150 w/ tax and tip w/ a glass of wine each) this experience came up woefully short. I had the seared scallops with risotto. The scallops didn't have much of a sear and the risotto tasted like it was mass produced and scooped from a slow cooker. I also had the chopped salad. Presentation does not appear to be a concern as it looked like the server not a sous chef) threw it together a' la a diner and dumped a vinegar heavy dressing on top. My wife had the jumbo lump crab cake with roasted potatoes. The carb cake had lump on the outside but was primarily not lump meat. I honestly don't think the roasted potatoes spent a minute in an oven as it was obvious they were boiled. It was difficult to finish any of the entrees or the salad. It's sad that the food can't match the view from the outdoor tables. It is a wonderful location for a relaxing evening if only they could elevate the food preparation. There are many choices for a memorable dining experience in the Harbor East/Fells Point area...in it's current state...this is not one of them. Try The Black Olive."

We came here because they were one of the only restaurants open late. The food was pretty decent and I would have given it 5 stars had the mussels in the risotto not gone bad. Location-wise it's right by the water and a short walk within all the tourist spots so it doesn't get much better. View menu

Tasty innovative sandwiches. Beautiful setting and a good cause to boot. I had the cauliflower filled tacos and couldn't believe how good they were. As good as any meat filled taco I have had. I wish I knew how they made to taco shell soft on the outside and crunchy on the inside. My wife had the salmon BLT and loved it.

I booked this reservation to celebrate my wife and I’s 3yr wedding anniversary. I must say this was one the best restaurants I’ve ever been to. Malik (server) was great in assisting us with food choices and was very attentive to our needs. The hostess and other employees were great as well. We will definitely be back very soon.

"Highly recommend Sweet Peaz Southern Kitchen! The food is served fresh and hot. We were a party of eight and ordered Fried Whiting with Yams and Mac n Cheese, Chicken and Waffles, Fried Chicken Wings, Chicken Tenders, Fried Shrimp, French Fries, and Collard Greens. The Sweet Potato Waffles were absolutely delicious! The fried chicken, shrimp, and fish were cooked perfectly and tasted as good as they looked. The seasoning was just right—not too salty, allowing the flavors to shine. The yams and collards were a real treat for the taste buds. And the cornbread? Simply amazing. My only disappointment was that the first taste was free (haha). The Mac n Cheese was decent, but the Chicken Tenders didn’t quite live up to their name; however, they did remake them for us to take home. The space is small and simple, with old-school music that adds to the enjoyable dining experience. They limit dining to one hour to ensure everyone can enjoy the food, which I appreciate—I dislike when people linger for too long when others are waiting. The staff were friendly, making us feel valued and appreciated. Prices are reasonable. One downside was that many items were unavailable, including grits—which was a big letdown since I was looking forward to the famous Shrimp and Grits—as well as butter, potato salad, seafood salad, and tartar sauce. I recommend calling ahead if you’re craving a specific dish. Despite this, it was a great dining choice and lived up to the positive reviews. Overall, we left satisfied and would gladly return. Parking is street parking only, as there’s no dedicated lot."
