"We literally received gyros with raw onions, raw green peppers, and plain yogurt on them. When we ordered an extra side of tzatziki, but we didn't even get tzatziki on the gyro, let alone a side of it. Absolutely ridiculous that these were passed off as gyros."

I got home with my food order, and it was wrong. The waitress suggested that I bring everything back tomorrow. I guess that means I won't be eating tonight?

We were looking for some quick takeout fish tacos, but the fish sandwich we received was terrible. They also forgot my corn on the cob. I'm really unsure how this place is still in business. View menu

Onions rings were fried to hard, only got 2 large ones, 3 medium ones and 2 tiny ones and 1 crust with no onion in it for $7. and change! Clam soup was horrible as well, nothing like cream crab soup or Maryland crab soup.

The quality control is really lacking. We received gyros that had raw onions, raw green peppers, and plain yogurt on them instead of tzatziki. We’ve had decent gyros from here in the past but won’t be going back after this experience.

"Highly recommend Sweet Peaz Southern Kitchen! The food is served fresh and hot. We were a party of eight and ordered Fried Whiting with Yams and Mac n Cheese, Chicken and Waffles, Fried Chicken Wings, Chicken Tenders, Fried Shrimp, French Fries, and Collard Greens. The Sweet Potato Waffles were absolutely delicious! The fried chicken, shrimp, and fish were cooked perfectly and tasted as good as they looked. The seasoning was just right—not too salty, allowing the flavors to shine. The yams and collards were a real treat for the taste buds. And the cornbread? Simply amazing. My only disappointment was that the first taste was free (haha). The Mac n Cheese was decent, but the Chicken Tenders didn’t quite live up to their name; however, they did remake them for us to take home. The space is small and simple, with old-school music that adds to the enjoyable dining experience. They limit dining to one hour to ensure everyone can enjoy the food, which I appreciate—I dislike when people linger for too long when others are waiting. The staff were friendly, making us feel valued and appreciated. Prices are reasonable. One downside was that many items were unavailable, including grits—which was a big letdown since I was looking forward to the famous Shrimp and Grits—as well as butter, potato salad, seafood salad, and tartar sauce. I recommend calling ahead if you’re craving a specific dish. Despite this, it was a great dining choice and lived up to the positive reviews. Overall, we left satisfied and would gladly return. Parking is street parking only, as there’s no dedicated lot."
