"This restaurant serves the best steaks we ever have had--and that's a lot coming from a Chicagoan and a Nebraskan. The sommelier, Heather, suggested the perfect wine to accompany our dinner. Elaine, our waitress was competent, friendly, and attentive without being at all obtrusive. She had the right manner for her job. And the young Waiter's Assistant, Gabriel, was a real delight. We shared the bone-in Porterhouse that was cooked exactly the way we wanted it: black and blue. To start, we had the marrow bone, another delicious dish. We are so glad that we can get top quality steaks right here in Grand Rapids. Any time we want to celebrate an occasion or just to indulge ourselves, Bowdies Chophouse is the place we will patronize."

From start to finish this was a great experience, the hand crafted cocktails to start with probably the best shrimp cocktail I’ve had in a very long time. We shared a ribeye that was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The wine list was fairly priced and extensive. Will definitely be visiting again soon.

for the amount of money I spent at dinner, it was not worth it at all. the steak was probably the worst restaurant steak I ever had. I brought the left to my dogs home and they didn't even want to eat the steak. that is also not hyperbole, they literally sniffed it and held back by the steak. our waiter was really good,
