"On a Friday night around 5:30 PM, the restaurant was about 75% full and had a waiting line that formed shortly after. After reading reviews on Zomato, I narrowed down my choices to the lobster, Mahi tacos, or a Cuban sandwich. However, our waitress Bryanna recommended the fried oyster basket, which she said contained about six oysters. So, for $13.50, I decided to order the Mahi tacos instead, while our friends opted for the fried oysters. To my surprise, they received at least a dozen of those delicious oysters, and I heard they were fantastic. I couldn't shake the feeling of being shortchanged! The Mahi tacos arrived at room temperature, and while I enjoyed the fried oysters, they felt like an odd pairing. The Amber ale (Gator Tail) was decent, with a hint of chocolate flavor. The atmosphere was quite loud when the place was full, making it difficult to engage in conversation with friends."

We went out for a date night in Safety Harbor and chose to visit Bar Fly. We used to love the Bar Fly in Palm Harbor and have really missed it since that location closed, so we were excited to try this one.

Decent food and nice atmosphere. Not the most kid friendly place but not bad. It would be better if they had actual grilled food instead of pan sautéed food only and some fried clams and hushpuppies seem to be missing. Pleasant staff, took a while to get an order but probably will return.

What a great vibe located in the very heart of Safety Harbor. The island theme with reggae makes you relax instantly. The wait staff are very chill and relaxed No worries mon! The food is bar food but was delicious. We both had the grilled lobster cheese with lobster bisque and kettle chips which were great. If you want a low key island experience, this is your place.
