"This downtown restaurant is a fantastic choice, offering generous portions and a delicious menu. I visited while catching up with some family, and we started with a shared salad and tuna tartare as appetizers, along with a bottle of wine. For the specials, we had the option of ribeye or halibut, and we went with the ribeye special, along with a pork chop from the regular menu. Both dishes were expertly prepared, well-seasoned, and served in hearty portions. The service was also impressive; our waiter, who had only been there a couple of weeks, was already exhibiting a professional demeanor that made us feel well taken care of. The owners were present as well, and they were wonderful people. If I could suggest one improvement, it would be to acquire a liquor license, as cocktails would be a great addition to the menu. Also, parking is free down the street after 6 PM if street parking is unavailable."

"Absolutely the best! She uses only the freshest ingredients, and each dish is prepared with its own batter and fried separately. I usually order the Fish and Chips, which are the best I've ever had, but this time I tried the Fried Oysters and Fried Clams. No one can match Mary's vibrant personality and charm. This unique experience is something you shouldn't miss. Get ready to be amazed! The portions are also very generous! It's always a pleasure to chat with Crazy Mary as she proudly boasts about having the greatest fish joint—because it truly is. Certifiably the best!"

"Buffalo Block is a great choice for food when you are visiting Billings, MT. The restaurant has a convenient downtown location. The food is styled as an upscale Steak House with a very nice menu, craft libations, and an excellent wine list. The staff answering phones and taking reservations could be better. We called on the afternoon of our visit and requested a table for five. It was not super surprising to learn that the restaurant was fully booked...except it wasn't.Two members of our party did not get the message that our reservation had been moved to a different restaurant after learning the BB was full. When they arrived at 7pm the dining room and bar were certainly not full and could be construed as half empty. Thankfully our two party members who did not get the memo grabbed a table and we all were able to enjoy a great dinner at Billings, MT Buffalo Block."

"I recently tried a new dish: the BBQ Pork in Hot Garlic Sauce with fried rice, and it was incredibly delicious! I highly recommend it. The staff is always friendly, and the service is great. The most recent photo is the last one I took. The food has consistently impressed me, and the egg drop soup was exceptional—it's so hard to find good egg drop soup! I ordered one side and three entrees, which was option F on the menu, and everything was fantastic. I decided to place an order from here and I'm so glad I did. Highly recommend it! On July 28th, I ordered option A, which includes one side and two entrees: rice, cashew chicken, and sesame chicken. It was absolutely delicious, and the takeout portions are fantastic! I also got some hot and sour soup, and everything smells amazing—even though I haven't eaten yet. Thank you for cooking such aromatic dishes with beautiful flavors! The last photo shows my takeout. "Overall a good experience. I halfto say this is a quaint and comfortable mom and pop community friendly diner concept. My burrito was pretty good and on par with what you would get at Perkins or Denny's with the added benefits that it's Montana sized and let me tell you they do not skimp on the filling or the gravy over the top. My wife had the stuffed avocado and absolutely loved it ! My father and law had the county fried steak and gravy and I've gotta say we were bummed when it came out like boot leather. We didn't ask to return it because we had already waited 15 minutes for coffee refills and kinda just wanted to get going and on to our Costco trip. So to sum up burrito 3.5/5 stuffed avocado 5/5!!!! Country fried steak 2/5. Oh last but not least you've gotta try Thier jams OMG I bought a blueberry rhubarb jelly a week ago and it's gone. Must try. All and all we will be back to try them again !"
