"The receptionists were nice, the restaurant was beautiful. The food was okay only. We went 2 consecutive days (limited restaurants on a Sunday). Day 1 the waiter read the daily special from his booklet, and seemed scattered (full seating that day) but he did offer us bread. He advised of the 2 hour parking credit took my slip. But I still had to pay the full amount of the ticket when I exited the parking garage. Day 2 the waiter handed us the paper with the special to read for ourselves when asked about the bread he said the chef doesnt offer bread unless it's asked for. Then went on to say they dont do it for what we understood as new year resolutions purposes.The portions the food was different/less between days (I ordered same plate my family had in day 1). The filet was undercooked then returned burnt/dry on the outside. I complained about the parking issue and the receptionist made sure it didn't happen this 2nd time. It wasn't the greatest experience but also wasn't horrible. The place was clean. If you are not seated by the kitchen side it might be quieter."

First time there. Had dinner before a concert at Amalie Arena. Our waiter, Michael, was excellent. Very attentive, friendly and a great representative of the restaurant. The food was fantastic. The view of the river and the yachts was beautiful. A must go to restaurant if you in Downturn Tampa.

Tonight was our 18 year anniversary dinner the hostess seated us earlier than our reservation which was nice. We were by the rail closest to the water with a great view David L. was our server. David is the best server we have ever had!! He was attentive kind when I apologized for not asking him for another drink when he took my husband’s order he genuinely told me not to apologize because it’s his job. David is great at his job Jackson’s is lucky to have him. Thank you David for making our anniversary so special!

My waitress, Morgan, was very rude and condescending. The food was alright, I didn’t like my drink very much and asked if I could possibly switch it out for something else and Morgan demanded I tell her why I didn’t like the drink. Eventually I just said I would keep it because I just wanted the encounter to end so I could enjoy dinner with my friend. She stayed and stared at me. It was very uncomfortable. We had reservations at 5:45. Arrived at 5:40 and told we had to wait until 5:45 when expected that a table would be available. I watched as another couple came in behind us. Didn’t have reservations but asked to speak with a manager. Not sure if this couple was “important” or what but they were seated. I overheard another couple that came in behind us say their reservations were at 5:45. Same as ours. They were told same thing as us…had to wait til 5:45. But they were then seated. Kathleen was our server this evening and the best word to use is phenomenal to say the least. Right from the beginning she was down to earth and put a smile on our face the entire 3 hours of our date night. Her descriptiveness of the menu with only having 3 years of experience at this restaurant was amazing and made it easy to fall in love with a dish. As a sever, to see her handle the room and manage multiple parties at once along with our table made her time even more appreciated.
