"The service was about the only thing that was good. We were a party of three and all decided to order the same thing. First we started off with the calamari appetizer- the calamari was rubbery and the sauce was okay. As our main we all ordered Frutti di mar Fra Diablo Seafood Pasta Dish). The seafood in this dish are Calamari, Shrimp, Clams and mussels in the shell. The clams and mussels 3 of each) were very small so the meat was barely there. The shrimp x3) were overcooked and the calamari x5) were rubbery that it was difficult to even cut with a knife. It was over sauced and the sauce was not spicy at all. We also ordered two loaves of bread $3) that are made in house. The bread came with a dipping sauce that was not great and the bread itself was very doughy and somewhat bland. Overall we were disappointed with our meals. The establishment is dark and drab and has a displeasing smell. I would not recommend this place to anyone."

The meals are overpriced for what you receive, and the food was excessively salty. I will not be returning! It was a very disappointing experience.

We stopped in for a quick drink at the bar. Service was good and atmosphere was as well. Have eaten there before and love the food. We will dine there again.

I would agree with the lady in the other review that this was the worst Italian food she’s had in 41 years. I’m not that old but it was the worst I have ever had. I’m so sad right now. View menu

We are traveling from out of town and saw this restaurant on our way to our hotel and decided to come by. We were really pleased with the service and especially the food. Everything was excellent. Highly recommend it.

If you are looking for family small business vibe, good pasta,no frills and priced for the current economy, This is your lunch spot, great place to take a date if you've been married to her for 30 years and gaurantied she wont leave you!

The combination of mediocre food and high prices was disappointing. I ordered a salmon special that had an off-putting texture, and the prices for the specials were not listed on the menu. When the bill came, it was a surprising $46. I suppose they took advantage of us this time, but we won't be returning. View menu

Came in the other night, my server was very rude, I believe her name was Veronica, she smelled really bad like cigarettes and cheap perfume, and had a nasty attitude. Took forever to bring us the check. The guy with the yellow hair, kept rolling his eyes at other guests. Very bad vibes, and the place was not clean. Food subpar. They look very unprofessional and unkempt.

To start, their specialty drink couldn't properly be made. We shared the Italian sampler. Had very small servings. The eggplant was soggy. Along with the chicken. Smothered in sauce with a side of fettuccine noodles. Bread was extra $1 a slice is what we got. No salads. Price is too high for quality and quantity. Thankfully we are headed to the ballpark and can actually eat!! Also had to ask 4xs for my husband's drink. The atmosphere is the godfatherbroke and needs help. Parking: Handicap is almost impossible

"I just have one word that describes my experience here. WOW It was an absolute experience coming here. We were in town for my birthday and decided to eat here for my bday dinner/last night in Charleston. The vibe and atmosphere were classy, fun, and calming. They have a main bar area where you can grab a drink while you wait for a table and can be quite lively later in the evening. The dining rooms are towards the back, a lot quieter and more intimate so has a flavor for whatever you are into. The service was absolutely perfect. Our server (I wish I would have gotten her name she served our party of two at 10pm on Saturday 8/17) was so insanely friendly and personable. She knew her stuff and then some when it came to presenting the menu, but also would come chat with us and give us tips and recs for Charleston as she knew we were from out of town. They also gave us a free cheesecake and glasses of champagne on the house for our celebration. Just overall made us feel incredibly special and welcomed (we don't normally eat at places like this lol). The food, omg.....I am not overstating or being hyperbolic.......this was hands down without a doubt the greatest steak I have ever had in my life. Nothing even comes close. I had the Dry Aged Ribeye, and it has completely ruined steak for me because nothing will ever be that good. My girlfriend got the Filet, and it was in the same ballpark. Just legendary. We also got a side of the lobster Mac Cheese and it was fluffy with a perfect crust on top. Amazing flavor and texture. If you ever have the opportunity to dine, do yourself a favor and go. This was one of the best dinner experiences I have ever had. Thank you for making it a wonderful experience to the wait staff, the chef, servers, everyone there played a part and gave me a memory I will hold onto forever. Thank you!!"
