My wife ordered the veggie plate. She enjoyed the coleslaw, but found the creamed corn to be a bit too salty for her liking. On the other hand, she thought the candied yams were delicious, and the cornbread dressing was her favorite part of the meal. I've also included some pictures.

The food was tasty and affordable, and the service was really quick. The roasted okra was among the best I've had in years. I would have given a 5-star rating, but I received squash instead of macaroni. It was still good! However, if you're craving mac and cheese, everything else can feel like a letdown.

This is a wonderful restaurant that offers fantastic Southern cuisine along with a generous helping of Southern hospitality. The location is conveniently situated in the middle of everything. Our server, Todd, was exceptional; he took the time to explain the history of the restaurant and made sure we felt right at home. Regardless of what the future holds, I will definitely return!

During our family visit over the Thanksgiving holiday, we had a wonderful experience at the restaurant. The waitress who attended to us was exceptional; I just wish I could remember her name! She truly took great care of my family. The food was delicious, and since we visited earlier, we have consistently had positive experiences here. So we actually ended up at a different location at first, not realizing there was more than 1 (we're from outta town . We walked in the other location and immediately walked out due to the musky smell, but decided to try the original location we found and let's just say y'all exceeded our expectations! I placed a phone order and received excellent directions from the person who took my call. When I arrived, my meal was ready along with the drinks. They even included all the little extras like salt, pepper, butter, and utensils. I shared that my father had been in the hospital for over two months due to a car accident involving both of us. They kindly separated the food as I asked, added extra rolls and corn muffins, and even double-bagged my father's soup. The restaurant had a lovely atmosphere, with friendly staff and a clean environment, including the restroom.

I ordered the fried pork chop (which comes with just one), along with rice and gravy, macaroni and cheese, and corn. The pork chop was tasty, but since it was the highlight of the meal, I found myself wishing I had a second one for more enjoyment.
