"This establishment was one that I searched for on Yelp and they did not disappoint. The customer service is very welcoming and the neighborhood was very near to the factory which is in St. Petersburg FL. When I walked in everything was very direct as far as the menu structure and I began to order some very delicious soul food. I ordered the shrimp and fish combo with the macaroni and cheese and string beans. I also ordered a large lemonade. Everything came out exactly as I asked and the grouper was really a highlight of the trip. I really enjoyed the shrimp because it reminded me of home in Los Angeles. The people around were safe and friendly and they did a good job of helping me out with the door. When I'm in the area I will definitely return."

Excellent fried fish!!! Worth the drive! Doesn't taste like processed food but authentic tasting! Lightly breaded with cornmeal I believe. Boiled peanuts were great too!

Fast service, good food and locally owned. There's plenty of parking. I know they're doing takeout right now but not sure about their dine in which looked a bit limited. Lots of people coming and going from here so seems to be a popular choice!

You go for the food... It's a carry-out and the food is good. They put their foot in it good ????. Yeah, you have to wait while they prepare it, should have called ahead, but I was just a few blocks away. Out of whiting when I arrived, so hard to find in the bay, tbh, so I had the grouper.
