"French fries were warm brown on outside but still par frozen on inside. 2 pieces of fish were ok, not much flavor, we had to keep adding toppings to get it palatable grease shot out on first few bites. 1 piece of 3 Piece Fish Chips was so overcooked you couldn apos;t bite into it I had to crack it like a sea shell, slammed it on the table also had pockets of grease inside. It apos;s odd to get undercooked overcooked food on same platter. Obviously both are frozen food so no fresh made food here. Chocolate Mousse Shooter was good. Very sweet but nothing special. Pudding from a packet with chocolate syrup cool whip folded in. Very large but not worth the price (mousse my a . Guess I apos;ll stick with their cocktails which are the bomb! Eat at your own risk."

This salad was delicious, but it was considerably smaller than I anticipated given the price.

Went for Sunday brunch and it was great! Highly recommend the cinnamon roll if it’s available!

We had a wonderful dinner this evening. The bacon-wrapped pork chops are a must-try! My son really enjoyed his fish and chips. Great job, everyone! View menu

The pretzel bites were quite enjoyable. They resembled deep-fried biscuits sprinkled with salt—doughy and delicious. The burgers had a lovely charbroiled flavor. As for the fish and chips, it was your typical catch-and-release style, if you catch my drift.

My husband really enjoyed the Matt's burger, and I absolutely loved the Miller salad. The big, rich chocolate cake was tasty, but I could do without the raspberry sauce. It would be better if it were served on the side, as there was too much of it and it overshadowed the chocolate flavor.

The Three Piece Fish Chips garlic Matt’s Burger. Were great. We decided to try the appetizer Risotto Tots. They were good but you literally get 5 little tots for 11.99. At over$2 per tot, way overpriced. They are the size of the generic frozen tots. Put5 of those on a plate tell me you apos;d pay $12 for them. View menu

Updated review from six years ago: The service has definitely improved. The staff is very friendly, and the food is quite good. I really appreciated the proper beer taps, similar to those you’d find in the UK and Ireland. However, there was one downside: the Guinness pour. It was filled all at once with the glass standing straight under the tap, resulting in a foamy head with a lot of bubbles. Also, they didn’t use a tulip-style Guinness glass. On top of that, the Guinness tasted a bit sour, which might have been due to the pour or possibly dirty lines. I had high expectations after seeing those impressive taps you have!

Not impressed. It wasn’t busy for almost 9 PM on a Saturday. We were immediately seated, which is excellent. The loaded tavern chips were good, and it was a decent portion size. I am usually not a steak eater when going out, but I splurged and paid double for what I would have for the burger. The NY Strip lacked flavor and was a bit chewy. I love grits, especially with cheese, but the cake grits were terrible. My wife ordered a flatbread pizza and could only eat one small section. The meat was also chewy, and the sauce tasted like sugary maple syrup. Maybe they have good burgers and fries? I can’t say we are in a hurry to go back and spend another $82 on a meal.

"Food quality Service Ambiance Value Menu selection Location/Accessibility Overall experience Date visited: 11/11/2023 During a weekend excursion to the vibrant city of Columbus, I seized the opportunity to indulge my palate in the diverse and rich flavors of Indian cuisine at Aab India Restaurant. Accompanied by my dining companion, KK, our culinary escapade unfolded with the promise of an extraordinary dining experience. Arriving just before noon, we found the exterior of Aab India unassuming, a subtle facade that betrayed little of the culinary marvels concealed within. The challenge of parking, however, proved a minor detour on our quest for gastronomic bliss. Having secured a spot in the Big Lot parking lot down the street, we waited outside, eagerly anticipating the moment when the doors would swing open to reveal the warmth and aromatic allure that awaited us. As the clock struck 12, the portal to this culinary haven opened, and we eagerly sought refuge from the brisk autumn air. A gracious staff member ushered us to a neatly arranged table, allowing my companion to peruse the menu while I immersed myself in the restaurant's ambiance. The interior unfolded with systematic organization—tables optimized for space, a bar counter adorned with a curated collection hinting at a storied history, and at the far end, a buffet counter laden with an enticing array of Indian culinary treasures. The decor, an elegant fusion of warmth and antiquity, transported diners to a bygone era. With its antique-inspired ceiling, floor, and furnishings, Aab India exuded an authenticity that promised an immersive dining experience. The warm color palette and tantalizing aroma further heightened the anticipation, especially as I imagined the ambiance taking on a magical allure as daylight gave way to night. Choosing the all-you-can-eat buffet, we joined a queue that mirrored our eagerness to explore the Indian culinary landscape. Labels adorned each tray, providing glimpses into the myriad dishes that awaited us. My plate became a canvas for a symphony of flavors—a scoop of herbal basmati rice, curry that was a departure from the familiar Chicken Tikka Masala, naan bread, fresh vegetables, and a dessert whose uniqueness intrigued my senses. Returning to our table, the first bites were revelations. The curry, a choreography of spices, danced on my palate, and the naan bread, while exemplary on its own, ascended to sublime heights when dipped in the curry. KK, fully immersed in the experience, relished basmati rice, Chicken Tikka, and an assortment of vegetables with evident delight. In the midst of our culinary reverie, an attentive waitress graced our table, ensuring our glasses remained filled. A managerial or culinary presence, keen on enhancing our experience, paid a gracious visit, adding a personal touch to our culinary journey. Our senses satiated and the ambiance savored, we lingered a while before bidding adieu to the burgeoning crowd. Overwhelmed by the newfound popularity, we settled the bill, generously tipping for the delightful fare and attentive service—a mere $16 per person, a paltry sum for the culinary symphony we had indulged in. Overall, Aab India Restaurant emerges as an unparalleled gem in the culinary scene of Columbus. A haven for those seeking not just a meal but a gastronomic journey, it stands as a testament to the alluring wonders of Indian cuisine. As I departed, the promise echoed—an assurance that whenever Columbus beckons, Aab India will be my chosen sanctuary for an encore of extraordinary flavors and warm hospitality."
