"Melt is another place where I am absolutely devastated that we are not back home. We visited the Independence site outside Cleveland and were excited to discover Columbus, it had its own Melt location. We came to brunch and loved our food. I had the Wake and Bacon, it was all I wanted, and the value was good. I also ordered a Pickled **** Mary and a cream Soda Old Fashioned, both drinks were so good! The other people in my party also loved their food. We were expected by the bartender who was spectacular at her job, she had good suggestions for us and was very friendly and attentive. The decor was really cool, just like the Cleveland location, and the search for unique art on the walls was a fun way to spend our time waiting. Melt has a variety of vegetarian and vegan options and many items on the menu can be ordered and changed to fit these dietary concerns."

this place offers a vegan menu with many alternatives. I love the Mac cheese, Tofu wings and parma italia. the parma italien sandwich was small when compared with others, so the price is a bit high. I love the fact that they can make almost everything vegan in the menu.

Melt is a wonderful place, truly. I would recommend sticking to what they’re known for: Amazing grilled cheese sandwich concoctions. I tried to go rogue with a taco salad, and was really disappointed. No cheese?! But, my kiddo got the Kindergartner grilled cheese with fries, and it was perfection.

Next level grilled cheese! So many different options there is something for everyone. I had the Wet Hot Buffalo, daughter had the Hot Italian, and my husband had the Chicken and Waffle. They were all good but the Chicken and Waffle sandwich was AMAZING! Portion sizes are large and sandwiches come with fries so the 1/2 order is plenty! Highly recommend!! View menu

I recommend going with the half sandwich option, as the portions are generous. The Monte Cristo sandwich is a classic choice. The servers are efficient and friendly. I recently visited the restaurant at their eastern location for the first time and I must say, I prefer it over their high street location, mainly because of the easier parking situation. The atmosphere and decor of the restaurant is unique and traditional, offering simple options like grilled cheese or a perfect burger, as well as innovative and adventurous dishes. The menu is one of the most original I have ever seen, with new and exciting options every time I visit. The cocktails are also top-notch.
